Hi,

As I'm not active on Rose Online anymore I would love to share some of my personal creative contraptions on here for

everyone to use.

Somewhat 1 year ago I ported over the Grand Theft Auto ENB Series over to Rose Online.

What is it? It's a tool that allows you to change the bloom, brightness etc of the game. (or some sort of overlay over the game)

[AFTER WITH RGE]

If you want to try the RGE (Rose Graphic Enhancer) out, here's how to:

Installation Guide

  1. http://webartisans.nl/uploads/RGE.rar  download this .rar file
  2. Extract the files within to the root folder of Rose Online (C:\Program Files (x86)\Gravity\Rose Online)
  3. Fire up Rose Online
  4. After the desired character is logged in to the game press SHIFT+F12 to enable the RGE
  5. To disable the RGE press SHIFT+F12

Note, the RGE looks different on every computer this due the settings of your monitor.

  • To lower/increase the bloom edit the value:
  • BloomPowerDay=16

  • To enable the motion blur edit these two:
  • [MOTIONBLUR]
  • MotionBlurQuality=1
  • MotionBlurRotation=3

  • To lower/increase the colorcorrections edit these two:
  • ColorSaturationDay=1.1
  • ColorSaturationNight=1.1
  • the colorsaturation values can go below zero by adding a minus ex; -1.1

Thanks & Thanks for the Pin.

The only down side with this ENB is that in crowded areas like Junon, it drains some extra fps.

All ENB's destroy the FPS like that until you fine tune them xD. You gotta find just that right tuning for your hardware to where you get the frames you want, and the enhancement you want.

That's very true hehe, But i'll bet there's no problem for you to finetune it yourself? xD

Nope, I just need to play with the setting for color styles etc, cause my FPS is fine with it.

I love this effect, but if I were to make it look vibrant, I would prefer adding the filters instead of installing this one :D

I'm at work right now.. But it's probably an [name].ini file should be opened with any text-editor.

Can you screenshot your Rose Root folder? What windows version are you running?

You didn't extract the files from the RGE folder into the Root folder of Rose,

Cut all of the files from the RGE folder and paste them >inside< the Rose Online folder and it should work ;)

Try running the game as administrator, check all of the RGE files in the settings/info to see whether they are checked for Read only or not, if that's the case uncheck the read only boxes

on each file. Other wise I have no clue.

EDIT:

I've edited the ENBseries to decrease the drops of framerates when using the Rose Graphic Enhancer.

Normally when enabling the Rose Graphic Enhancer your FPS would drop by an average of 21. (for example; from 51 FPS -> 30 FPS when RGE is enabled).

After some tweaking the average FPS drop is now; 0 or 1, that's a huge improvement.

To get such a result I was forced to disable the motionblur, you can still enable the motionblur by editing the enbseries.ini

I'm not sure why they won't implement this into the options. Nevertheless, great work man!
