this is on renewal.

 

currently passing time in gonryun 1 but its not the fastest xp or money, and have to tp away from too many or i waste pots (aloe).

 

shall i invest in some edp bottles and solo ti? my net connection and mobbing skills for luring for a party are quite poor, so that is kind of out of the question i am left solo.

 

currently low on funds only 3m in my pocket, with about 500m on vend

 

looks like 100 edp bottles is 2m how far into my 90s will that take me?

east of rachel would have been my goto for a few levels, but they seem to have changed mob spawns around and now it has byrogues instead of only roweens

so im leveling just fine with bounty board quests earth petite, wraith, Evil druid and dark priest. didnt know about these bounty boards (been years since i played RO)

 

im 96 now and my gears are:

 

+9 EMH of Thief

+7 hbp

+7 hard puente robe

+9 superior diabolus boots

RoFL

RoR

CD in mouth

costume goggles

purple glasses (heheh)

weapon is a +4 aural slicing chakram sharp 5 sharp 5 (picked this up for 25m only)

 

weapon doesnt have much atk but gives me a whopping 60 crit as an assasin. with the EMH and fury proc from RoFL + RoR I have a 100% crit rating which is nice, and decent crit damage.

 

How do i prepare for GX now? I need a malicious thanatos katar and i have 250m in cash/items currently vending

 

is a +9 thanatos katar necessary? will +7 do? +4? the price difference is really huge

 

What card shall i put in my HBP? leave it clean? I want HBP for greed

 

when im level 100 i can use assassin handcuffs for another 40% boost in crit damage, but im guessing RC leveling will be more efficient even then?

 

shall i sell my EMH and get a +7 RWH, or can a pirates folly do the trick?

 

shall i sell my diabolus boots and get something else?

 

what relatively cheap and useful armor can i use

 

lastly, what is the right accessories choice for an RC gx?

so im a gx now, switched my emh for a +8 star spangled bandana for more RC damage. Bought a cheap triple hunter fly jur +8. not sure what to do.

 

i tried nogg road at 100 it was hard, i died too much, and it is expensive. i am 101 now and the TI for me has zombie slaughters and i dont do much damage and they do too much so i cant solo there either.

 

do i need a +9 rwh to solo? will pirates folly work? cant wait till im 120 and can get a thanatos katar...

You shoudlnt be dying at nogg if using EDP.
If anything, get a +0 rwh. Extra hp leech always comes in handy, and you still need something for sp leech while you cant equip Thanatos Katar.

Even with rwh (+0) I am dying. What must be happening is my edp running out. How do people time it without scrolling over the buff?

Also how does pirates folly compare to rwh

By looking at the buff icon? I mean, it's not exactly rocket science. Oh it's about to run out? Refresh and flywing if you're in a mob due to the cast delay.

 

Rwh is better, but the pirate hat is okay if you're on a very strict budget.

My buff icon doeant.have numbers unless I mouseover. 1 min is a pretty short buff the fading line is.not good enough either

You'll have to get a feel for it then if you can't see the line. It'll come with experience, don't worry about it.

There's a little timer on the right side of the icon, just rebuff when u see it is almost gone.

so im investing in a deviling hbp. hbp for bonus and greed and because i dont like switching gears too much. with that im thinking of a +9 eddga instead of +9 rwh (same price). will the procs be often enough to make up for the missing leech with a +8 thanatos katar malicious?

If you combine with a blood sucker/ malicious set, yes

for gx, leech with rwh would be faster than using pot to get your hp&sp full, so if you didnt have one, get rwh first then eddga

Thanatos+ hunter fly+ any other source is already enough leeching '-' so if he has those i mentioned+ edp, he's already set in terms of survivability

Later on he might need even less leech gears, for example i do Sarah&Fenrir, killing the 6 gigantes at same time with only bloodsucker and Thanatos katar leech(ak carded)

at later level. yeah, but for early leveling wont fast enough, not to mention sp leech at early would be suck.

so having rwh for fast leech really helps
