Hi all,

 

Sorry if this is a silly noob question but if I successfully refine my weapon that already has a card in it, will I lose the card?

 

I understand I will lose the card if the weapon breaks.

No, you keep the card if you are refining it.

^ even tho it is wiser to put a card after you got your gears refined to your target, rather than inserting card first then refine your gears to your target.

you might want to try putting poring card in cotton shirt and upgrade it.

There's no question about it, many people have gone through refinement hell when trying to get their +9 carded weapon to +10, only to bounce down to +8 and go through the enriched cycle all over again. 

 

(seriously, shame on whoever decided to allow enriched to go to +3). 

 

But, to the point, the card stays. Weapons, armor, etc. As long as it doesn't break in the refinement cycle, you're fine.
