I want to make a good champion.
my weapon is a spear.
I was wondering on what stats and skills I should use, I want to max everything really good without any mess ups.

Spear champs is a jack of all trades, master of none. So, having a good pure build, is impossible. You'll be taking passives you don't need, to get higher passives you do want/need.

Well, what is it that you want to do with your champ, what content do you enjoy playing, and how* do you like to play them.

non pvp, just a good champion. I use a spear tho. am I able to use other things and also use a spear?

You can use Greatswords, Axes and Spears with Champions. 

 

However, that is not what I meant. I was asking you, what type of playstyle do you WANT to play. Do like helping kill, do you like helping defend, do you like supporting allies, do you like hit and run, or tanking. 

 

You need to figure out what it is you want to do, or enjoy doing before I can give you any legitimate help. Cause simply throwing stats and skills and items at you and telling you to use them, isn't going to help you have fun doing what you like doing. YOU needa figure out what it is you enjoy doing, then I can help.

Ok, so you want to be a damage dealer.

 

Here's the next volley of questions.

 

Do you want to:

AoE DPS, Single Target Burst, Single Target DPS+Control.

 

Do you want to:

Cast a lot of skills and base your damage on reliable cooldowns, or random melee RNG.

cast. and aoe dps I guess. until I get 230, then I wanna be able to boss kill

K so what you're going to want to do is take AoE Skills and passives that increase it's Damages. So things like AoE Radius + Attack Power.

 

As for stats, you're going to want to take things that are defensive mostly. STR and DEX should do fine. PvE isn't a DPS check like PvP, taking it slower normally works out better in PvE than trying to burst everything down. 

 

As for Equips, follow the same as your Stats, mostly defensives. Where defensive's aren't available, you'll opt for damage. 

 

Any further thinking isn't necessary until you actually hit 230
