Can we just go to http://www.playragnarok.com/ >>> login >>> power-up >>> Redeem coupon and get our code?.

The next thing we need to to is press the submit button, login into the game and then input the code based on the guide (https://support.warp...fra-points.aspx).

 

Why must to be so complicated and so vague?, hell what is news letter use for?, there is already news, event, and update notice on the http://www.playragnarok.com/, Warpportal Forum and Face Book.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding the situation right, so forgive me if not, but since distribution of dynamically generated codes via email didn't work, you don't need to input any codes anymore.

 

If you're eligible and go to Code the Redeemer using a character on your oldest RO account, the reward will automatically be there (this is how it was for me at least).

 

However if you created your account via Steam, it seems those accounts were in a separate database and so didn't have the automatic reward applied. The staff said in the maintenance thread that they'll be working to fix that.

 

But again maybe I'm misunderstanding and you more mean this as a recommendation for future code distribution, in which case, yeah something more simple than the email thing would be cool.

I can feel the staff try to make this complicated, maybe they do not want to give the reward to certain criteria (new account, old account, or something), someone maybe gonna make 100 account in hope can get the prize and vend it for money.

the costume isn't that good to make profits out of in the first place.. but i wish they could've tested those codes first to avoid this kind of complication. . 


and btw, if my WP account holds 3 RO accounts, would all of it get separate rewards or is it just on one of those accts? 'cause i got trouble finding my piggy costume and turns out it was on one of those accounts.. i just want a clarification

I think it's one per WarpPortal account but only one (the oldest) RO account within that WarpPortal account.

common sense says that if you get 1 code per warpportal email/newsletter, you will get 1 headgear per warpportal account, regardless of how many RO game accounts (1-3) you have on that email.

Yes, checked the Code the Redeemer NPC using my oldest RO account and it was there.

 

You may not see the reward if you registered for RO using Steam, staff mentioned those accounts were in a separate database that didn't get the reward applied and that they'll try and fix that.

I dunno, but I think the "complicated part" that folks are talking about is not how to be eligible for the prize but how to get the code after qualifying.

Did you register for RO through steam? If so there's an issue with those accounts they're looking into.

What a point we've come to when logging in and checking a box is considered too complicated.

 

Well, at first they talk about newsletter, then something wrong happen, they not even try to tell us what "newsletter is" or try to remind what "Newsletter" is and how to make sure the player already subscribed or not.

 

If they want they can just told us to go to the NCP located at Eden 2nd floor to claim the reward, but until now even the problem already solved, there is no official notice on how to obtain the piggy costume.

 

I even believe even the staff their self confused on where/how they must tell every player on Ragnarok about the piggy costume, and how to obtain it.

 

This begin to sound like the staff try to test how smart is the community and how often players use the forum, FB, official site, and Email.
