I just wanna know if Region Block still exist? cause 3 years ago I tried to play in Warpportal, Malaysia IP is blocked.

 

And I had to play the game through Aeria Games. But Aeria Games somehow banned my account permanently for no reason and I lost everything 2 years ago.

 

So, I wanna play again through warpportal since I have alot of unspend WPE from other games.

 

If it still block I should know now b4 I wasted my time downloading etc.

I think it's unblocked (we even have Malaysian flag capes for our characters in-game!) but you better wait for an official confirmation or from someone who's 100% positive, I don't want to waste your precious time of downloading the game if I'm wrong.

At this point, iRO2 is pretty much the only official RO2 server available, so there shouldn't be any region blocks at all.

How about Philippines? I have downloaded the game but I cannot connect to the server.

im having this error when i open ro2 updater (support told me to force repatch but how lol i cant even open my updater its stuck at that point)

upd: just reinstall the game or try to use vpn while updating, force updating just breaks client files even more and usually used for emergency when u got no time to reinstall the game or something

We are currently open to the Philippines.  If you are having issues connecting to the game we recommend checking your internet settings and visiting our knowledge base here.

We do still have some region blocks, but not many, mostly related to US embargo.

 

All the countries mentioned here should be able to play, though.

 

And the error 2 issue should be resolved as of an hour or so ago.

Sorry if it looks like I'm doing a necro (again) but I did a search on embargo countries and this list came up:

(a) Prohibited countries: Belarus, Cuba, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela. © U.N. ArmsEmbargoed countries: Burma, Code d'Ivoire, Congo, Eritrea, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, North Korea, People's Republic of China, Somalia, The Republic of the Sudan.

 

I'd just like to know which countries are region-blocked from logging into WP games and which ones are just blocked from making WPE purchases.
