Tanking what specifically? PVM or PVP/WOE? God Gears = Bryn, Megs, Asprika, Sleip? or U mean high tier equips? Well Im assuming its the latter since u cant tank with Bryn Megs lol, Asprika ofc can be used in tanking.

 

Stats

 

STR: 20~50 for carrying pots mainly

VIT: 110 atleast, better if 120 or more, 120 must if using Vit Temporal Boots

AGI: Up to you, if you have kiel, i wont bother leaving it at 1

DEX: 90 at least, Better if 100 or more, 120 must if using Dex Temporal Boots

INT: 90 at least, Better if 100 or more

LUK: Up to you, but better if you have 70 or more for some status resist, If you can make it at least 100 or more, great.

 

 

 

Equips: Equipments I can possibly think of attaining mid~max tanking ability.

 

Headgears: 

 

+12 CEB ( Better if upgrade is more than 12, for maximizing Bungisngis card)/ Large Bapho Horns/ Feather Beret/ Poopoo Hat/ RWC Indo Hat

Protection Feathers/ Blush of groom

Handkerchief in mouth/ Gent's Pipe

 

Cards To Be Compounded:

 

Headgear: Bungisngis 

 

Armor: TGK/GR mainly for tanking, just switch when needed; Peco Peco Card for poorman's equip; Marc/Evil Druid/Cards that make your armor a specific property like Pasana, switch depending on the situation 

 

Garment: Devi, Raydric, Noxious, Kades as your main garment cards, just switch when needed;

Cards that decreases damage taken from a specific property like Jakk Card for fire property attacks

 

Shoes: Verit, Green Ferus, Ancient Firelock, Matyr, General Egnigem

 

Shield: Thara Frog, Horn

 

Accessory: Kafra Blossom, Alligator

 

Weapon: Fabre Card

 

Armor Set:

 

KVM Set 

WoE Robe Set: So far the best set for tanking in pvp/woe

 

For Non Armor Set:

 

Armor: Glorious Armor, Boitata Armor, Heroic Judgement Shawl, Anti Magi Suits, Valk Armor for oldschool indestructablity lol

 

Garment: Heroic Backpack, Archangel Wings with Cranial enchant or Immune Enchant, Proxy Nydhog, Flame Manteau of Naght Sieger, Immune Manteau (If this is implemented here), Giant Faceworm Skin w/ VIT/HP enchants, Fallen Angel Wings w/ HP enchants

 

Shoes: Variant Shoes, Enhanced Variant Shoes, VIT Temporal Boots, DEX Temporal Boots (for casting purposes), Applause Sandals (overupgraded with amon ra card, if impelemented here)

 

Acce: Glorious Ring, Gambler Seal (if implemented here), Vit Gloves, Black Rosary, RWC Rings w/ VIT/HP enchants

 

Shield: Immune Shield, Valk Shield, Armored Sleeve Guard (if implemented here)

 

Weapon: Long Mace(w/ vit enchants or double mdef enchants), Any Weap with [4]

 

Shadow Set: well im not familiar with the current shadow sets available for tanking, lets just wait for some comments for shadow set.

So long post

 

Basically you need

 

 

all elemental armors,

Alice Shield/hodremin shield 

Temporal boots with muscle fool enchant (any type is fine)

DR/Immune (better to have both)

pots!

 

That's basically all I use for my sura. Always remember to have a sheep hat worn when tanking MVP for someone else to keep the aggro on yourself.

 

Also do note that you are vulnerable to stuns if the mvp is higher level than yourself (eventhough under MS, you can be stunned and killed, unable to pot)

mad bunny shield makes sheep hat obsolete. now you can use +12 palace guard cap or abysmal knight helm.

It's give or take imo.

 

Either you upgrade the bunny to +10 to slot an alice card in. Or wear a sheep hat and valk + alice.

 

Wearing those 2 hats is like choosing to get 15% reduction to give up 40% boss reduction.

 

But yeah, go for alice MBS + reduction hat if you have the funds for it
