Theme: Heading home for the Holidays

-As you might imagine, I have travel on the mind right now and would be interested to see characters from RO getting their transportation on this winter. Adventurers and NPCs are taking the nearest warp portal, airship, sailing ship, train or peco back home! I want to see characters from RO traveling to join their friends and family for the holidays. Maybe you have a screen with the kafra gals re-uniting in Aldebaran to have a company dinner, or adventurers waiting in line to get on the ship back to their hometown I'd like to see people embrace and get creative with the theme!

 

-Art must be new (created after the announcement of the contest) and wholly created by the artist. Clip art and elements borrowed from other works are not allowed. 

-Artist must be the one submitting, no commissioned works allowed for this contest. 

-Traditional and digital art 

-Entries MUST be 4:3 aspect ratio to be considered for loading screens. If that means that you have to add a "letterbox" to get it to that aspect ratio (640x480, 1600x1200) please do so. 

 

-Entries must be 640x480 jpgs at around 100kb or slightly less. You can also include a larger scale version of your image in your submission post. Sites like this will scale down your pictures and let you set a maximum file size. 

 

-Please include your character name (please make sure it is spelled exactly) and server in the post, this will make it a lot easier to add your prize when the new screens go in. 

 

Judging

-The deadline to submit an entry into the contest will be 11:59pm PDT (GMT-7) on Tuesday December 20th

 

-Judging will be done by a panel of WP Staff based on the following categories

• Originality
• Theme
• Effort
• Overall Execution
