Was it the 180Dex + 170Int thing? I think I tried that once, just don't know where to get that much stats. Foods maybe?

Just because it wasnt carded doesnt mean its not slotted.

On all sources from jRO the ring has a slot(database, official website, divinepride).

But it was implemented here w/o it, waiting for a fix.

Yes this might just be better. The formula is basically [ (Dex x 2) + Int] = 530

However I think you'll be giving up more damage for stat instant cast, unless you're going to be on Clementia and/or are planning to use +20 Dex and Int foods along with VIP Buffs or +10 Foods.

stacking on heavy int is sorc main source of damage, you really dont lose damage for going stats insta with sorc, you actually gain a lot. And you'll need foods for that anyways :v but it's worth it

Yeah stat insta is definitely the way to go for end-game, when you are going to use buffs anyway for the damage in instances. For leveling though, it's impractical coz of the foods and bless requirement, and also coz getting high base stats is really difficult at low levels. Maybe 150 onwards, for NCT.

Levelig is an expense so its totally worth spending to make yourself as invulnerable as possible. Even my AB uses +20 dex and int foods to supplement his instant cast, because for AB's getting full variable instant cast is even more important to keep people alive.

You can still do insta-cast and keep everyone alive without using foods. The gear requirement isn't high for it either.

Although, getting insta-cast on an AB is pretty much a waste unless you're doing ME. Better save the foods for more useful killing characters imo

Thats a very understandable and reasonable arguement you have there Demeris.

 

For me though, I am not adept at playing a class to slaughter things, if a support side can be reached I go towards that instead. Even I realize it is truely a shame I cannot play a killing class such as Genetics for example, to its actual pure killing potential, however I also realize my own self that I do not look through a killers lens like most players who can and can gear accordingly towards it, I find myself too passive for the role and unable to keep a calm state of mind mostly when confronted in the front lines, and look through a supporters lens so I can only act accordingly. Thats probably my only reason why I wouldn't find it a waste.

 

Anyways back onto the Spirit King Ring, those are some very alarming numbers your dealing Ashuckle, but I think its ohkay for what the class seems to have accended to do in a PVP/WOE and PVM scenario.

Hi Marty,

I use to wear the robe of an AB and it is still in the church of prontera collecting dust. I go by the name Acolyte in game and I have about 6 ABs. Back in the day, I would play my class and be content with just supporting people. However I realized that I couldn't make money on my own and the life of a healer depends too much on selling WPE/KP or relying on people to log on to do stuff with.

So I have given up the staff and have taken the dragon and the cart. I am happy with the decision because now I get all the ladies wanting to do stuff with me (when before, you had maybe 5 ABs asking to play AB in ET).

I hope someday you will look past the heals and realize that not everyone cares about a big dick. After all, a bigger dick doesn't help kill stuff faster.
