I recently decided to give Requiem another go after leaving the game back in 2011. I updated all my account information and downloaded the game from Steam. But when I launch the game I get stuck at the Warpportal launcher. It wants me to register an account, yet I already have one with Requiem in my game list at Warpportal. There is no button to indicate I already have an account so I can skip ahead.

So, how do I get past this Warpportal Launcher?

Hello, Khalifrio.

Open your Requiem folder (example: "C:\Gravity\Requiem");

Run the game using UPDATERUSA.EXE which is in that folder.

That shall solve the problem.

You can also make a shortcut of this file.

Thanks you for the reply. That fixed that issue but now I have a crash issue. I can log in and be in the game for about a minute but the game freezes up if not out right crashes to desk top.

Khalifrio, try different screen resolution (choose in game settings) and switch on/off Full Screen Mode.

I have tried full screen/windowed mode. I went from the default resolution to 1920x1080. I will work my way down from there and see if I can find a resolution that fixes the issue.

Once again thank you very much for trying to help out with this. I had tried everything I could think of and had no success so far.

There is a known crash if you play the game on full-screen and alt-tab. For your particular case, it sounds more like the anti-virus is interfering. Add an exception to requiem.exe in the same folder as updaterusa.
