Or trade with other items with sum of equal value agreed between buyers and sellers as long it's not involving account bound items.

some items like BB's, BMX'es, Safe cert 10 are commonly accepted as transactional tokens which act as zeny substitute.

 

I see, is there something that has fixed prices that will not depreciate in future? Lets say I bought Safe Cert 10 as transaction tokens, and then a year later their prices became 20-30% lower, it will be a bad investment to make.

Nothing have fixed prices when you're talking about active market, demand-supply play its role :heh:

 

Most of Investments are gambling everywhere both in real world and gaming world, there's nothing like land investment in this game which never depreciate.

 

as long safe cert 10 rarely introduced in the lucky boxes or doesn't have a better substitute it will keep getting overvalued over the time but of course you'll having hard time getting it when it comes to transactional tokens.

Own up to ur loss. Admit to ur own mistake. Realize u were dumb enough to trust someone over the net in a video game. Move on and try to be smarter next time. It may sound rude but I don't want to sugar baby spoon ur feelings. The person fooled u so learn to not be fooled again. Take care.

 

ok, again, i understand your point, was my fault, but this is not about me, is about a problem that is happening in the server years ago and the support staff instead to solve it they create a rule for save the back, please, someone answer this, what happen with the people who is being scammed everyday?, not only me, they don't deserve a answer? they don't deserve to the support staff pay attention to this? someone here think on the other players? in the comunity? you think to it's fair to this still happening to other players and the support staff dont give it the support to all deserve? i only want know this

Wait, let me get this straight. You bought WPE from someone using real money? If you wanted to buy with real money anyways, why didnt you just buy off WarpPortal directly?

And i also hear talks of using zeny to buy WPE, which is it? Did you use cash or zeny!?! I am confused

I am pretty sure he bought WPE using zeny, not real money. Trading with real money is completely against the rules and he would have been banned rather than keep posting here if he did something like that. Anyway, its rather rare that the buyer of WPE gets scammed since from what I see in Eden 1F the usual scheme is code-first and the seller of WPE will take the risk. OP did zeny-first, maybe the price is cheaper this way, and then the risk is on his own side.

They basically receive same answers and only give future advices so that you won't fall in the same hole. At least that's on my case before. I don't know your problem unless you seems lost like $100 worth WPE with your frustration...

 

Although I do think that ticket system being dumber and dumber as the time goes... My ticket is literally automatic replies like this

Just give it up...It's fair because it's a clearly stated, well-known policy.  You obviously had reservations, and instead of doing 5 minutes of research, you chose to make a choice that came with obvious risk, simply hoping someone else would take care of it for you if things went bad.  Take accountability and learn from this instead of complaining for a week straight on the forums.

 

On a side note, given how liberal they are with locking threads and deleting posts, it's quite amazing that this thread is even still open.

What happened to the people that got scammed? Well, some whines on the forum, others realized their mistake and moved on.

 

Now listen.

Warpportal knows... They don't want players to be scammed... It is not fair to be scammed...

That's why they do not encourage or support buying/selling of WPE.

  • Buy/Selling of WPE is done so at your own risk. But if you get scammed let us know so that we can suspend the scammer (nothing will be returned) 

(honestly, even if they don't tell us, it's pretty obvious that you can get scammed with this type of trades)

 

They warned us. You take the risk. You can't blame them and say they "failed you". I know it sucks man, but move on.

Honestly, this kind of scam is nothing compared to how you can be badly scammed in real life. I know some people who got scam job offers, in which they were asked to receive and send packages from the company, only to find out that the company would pay them fake checks. But thats not the worst part yet, the packages contained goods purchased with stolen credit cards. In some extreme cases, the US government ended up sending some of those victims in jail. They had no way to prove their innocence other than empty words, and they could not capture the actual culprit so someone had to take the blame. How unfair can this be? But it happens, theres nothing anyone can do, you can only blame your bad luck, learn how not to be scammed again, and move on. At least, you wont be sent the prison as a victim, and you aint even getting banned on warp portal.

i got my items back (after being hack) after sending support ticket less 3days.

 

stolen in my account:

all equip items & 30m zeny. 

 

recover after sending support ticket:

all items  & 3m (nvm on zeny its easy to gain it using cashshop, i more concern on my equip items (last years items that rare/not anymore put in ragial). 

 

 

now my next action(w/c i already did) is to file a case against on that hacker(which is also my own country men 12km far) on Bureau of Investigation for accessing my emails & private account its written in article 4 on our country cybercrime law (10 years imprisonment).

i know its only a game.... but as a citizen of a system, I must oblige to follow & exercise the law......... nothing personal. 

 

anytime this week he gonna receive a warrant order from court, because the BI already got his identification/ip thanks for yahoo.com security.

please don't try to justify a fault, a fault is a fault, i know that in the internet the scam is a risk but justify it is like how you mom said "if you friends jump down in a ravine you should jump also?" the fault need be checked, even though the scam is a reality on the internet many sites are always upgraden they system trying to stop this issue, making new ways to protect their customer, because not only the customer need learn, the servise provider need learn too, both have the responsability. 
 
The internet industry is in constant evolve, new apps, new security systems and new updates, even the ragnarok is evolving everyday, not is the same game like in alpha of beta with bugs and some unestables mechanics, now is a best game because the staff learned to do it, the WPE scam issue is like a security bug that is being exploited for some corrupt players and this is happening for years, i mean, for years the staff is receiving ticket of people that is scammed, for years they are answering the same and in years they don't learn anything about that? in years? no man, i think they can do better but they don't do it beacuse conformist people are saying "forget this" or "it is you problem" but they can solve this, and if they can't solve it they should find someone who can do it, because their job is make a better server everyday and i want a better server.
 
anyways this is not about the lost of money, is about the bad answer of the support staff about this issue, they can close this post if they want, there is they server with they rules but i got the right to say this, i think to i am saying the true and if someone of the staff think to i am wromg he can say it.

WPE trades in-game are not supported by the GM staff, and never been. They will not ban you for it but if you wish to engage in this activity then you are on your own, meaning if you got scammed, items or WPE likely won't be returned. As I see it, till there is a better secure system for such trades, the activity will remain unsupported.

 

If you have bright ideas to facilitate secure WPE trades or even direct WPE<>Zeny purchase in-game then please do share them in the Suggestions & Proposals section.
