Where should I be leveling my hunter, currently 74. I've been leveling at the drosera/stapo field south of veins, but it's slow as hell.
My stats are 99 dex, 39 vit.

For gear, I have both a bow-master's hood and immune muffler, green shoes, two gloves (unslotted) and two slotted (but empty) bow thimbles.

Don't hold back on suggestions, overhaul the whole build if you deem it necessary.

Sounds like you're running into the Renewal leveling penalty for hunting monsters too high of a level relative to yours. For optimum leveling, you want to be hunting monsters around 10 levels higher than you, or in your case level 84. You should get decent exp for monsters in the range 74 - 88.

Check out some of the monsters here: http://db.irowiki.or...ader=10#results to see if you can find something that you can kill (relatively) easily that isn't accompanied by too many tougher monsters.

I don't know why you'd get vit on a hunter... Anyway, it looks like you can just kill stationary things with no int or agi?
Eden quests from 71-86 have nice exp returns imo if you can do them...
Sleepers die to one claymore too if you have some sp and that trap and want to try leveling near juno... (Sleepers are 1+k each base and job, getting .8% per kill on my sniper, so you should get more than 1% each I bet)
Also, the difference between 99 dex and like 91 dex is 8 atk and 8% more damage for your weapon. So, I don't think getting 99 dex is as worth it in renewal imo.

Goats, if you have someone to mob for you and arrow shower it's the fastest ever. Then do harpies. =]

Actually I did find somewhere to level, in Louyang on Mi Gaos. The exp is fairly decent, and I've gotten up to 79 there.
But I'll try a reset so I can swap some points into agi and try harpies next.

Imo sleepers > harpies. Why?
1) easier to flee by 30 points
2) move slower than harpies
3) dont have muting attacks
4) give only 200 exp less than harpies
Mi gaos look exactly like sleeper do btw just about. But better. Should be good there. xD
Btw, mi gaos give the same as a harpy.
