Im having visual bugs whenever i enter cities, mission maps.
The background of the cities(libra, port of winds, etc) become very messy, also the jumpers and portals are invisble.
the game crashes when there are many people (3 or 4 ) using skills and there is no bug or error report
my computer able to support RO2 2 with no problem so i think it should be able to support Dragon Saga as well 
i need help on this, i cant play the mission with the bug especially in lavalon boss map.

First, before doing anything else please unistall the game completely and re-install it using the files you can find in this thread:

It could be that something within your game broke while patching. This does happen sometimes.

 

 

In the case you got an I7 disable hyper threading. The game sometimes does not like I7 and messes up things.

 

Is your graphics card driver up to date? If not you could try to update it to the latest version.

 

 

If all fails write a pm to Popcorn and ask him for help. :p_smile:

i play Dragon Saga from steam and i've tried reinstall the game several times
also i also verifed the integrity of the game(steam's way to troubleshoot i guess) then the game just redownload and the same issue remains.

As Fliederduft78 already told you - if you encounter such problems it's a patcher problem. Please use the pre-patched full version from this post: https://forums.warpp...lems/?p=2516733

 

You can use steam to download again and again it won't help because steam does only download an old version of the game and the patcher then updates the game. When there is a problem in the patching process for you using steam to re-download won't help.

 

Please download the files from the post mentioned above and overwrite the files in SteamApps/Common/DragonSaga with the files from the download. It should be working afterwards.

so basically i need to redownload the game from steam and run the patcher files from the link or can i just run the patcher files straight away to overwrite the files?

Nope, you don't need to re-download or run the patcher. You just have to download the files from the link I gave you, unpack them with WinRAR or 7-zip and overwrite the DragonSaga files in your SteamApps/Common/DragonSaga folder with the ones you just downloaded. That's it.

there are 17 parts in the link that u gave me and i downloaded it all
but all the files in the 17 parts look same to me
do i just copy once ?

i just tried with part 1 files and put all in steam files
and lauched it from steam
the steam just updates for 2.2gb (when i redownload its 2.6gb) then the patcher asks for update again after updating and pressing Game Start
Dragon Saga appeared for 5 second then crashed

First, we had a maint and so a new pre patched version is available. It now contains 16 different parts. They might look the same, but that is only the case until you unpack them.

 

- You have to download the new pre patched files from google drive into a folder on your harddisk

- After that you use either the tool "winrar" or "7zip" to unpack the files you just downloaded into that folder

- Now you have to overwrite your existing game files you can find at "SteamApps/Common/DragonSaga" with all the unpacked files

- After that just start the game over Steam, the patcher should not patch anything if all went well

- Now enjoy the game

Since all the files in the 16 zips look the same so whenever a replace message pop up i just replace every time it should be fine ..?

ok i now extracted all files and replaced into the steamapps->common->dragon saga
and i start it from steam
the game just start to download again at steam
whats the problem

ok usually after the download the patcher will patch for 45 minutes but this time there is no patching but the game gives "Wrong Client Version" error in the login screen

Okay, slowly.

 

 

You downloaded 16 packed files and put those into a folder, right?

 

The files come in a so called "multi part archive". This means you only have to unpack the first part "part01" and it will automatically unpack the rest of the files into the folder you selected to unpack to. So just unpack the part01 and let it do it's thing. Once it is done you should have a complete copy of the entire DragonSaga game inside the folder you selected to unpack to.

Now simply copy the unpacked game into your "Steam/Apps/Common/DragonSaga" folder and replace all existing files. 

 

There is no reason why Steam should download the game again.........oh yes......do not remove the game from Steam beforehand.

Yeah what i do before was removing all files in the steam folder then put the prepatched files but now i do the correct way, i opened the game and it gives "Wrong client version" and the game shuts down after clicking F1

Okay.. i successfully entered the game and the visual problem still not yet fixed..
i just updated my nvidia to latest version so what else i can do :(

Is there any information to solve that problem ? My friend have the exact same bug, and we have try a lot of stuff and nothing worked.. We are a bit desperate
