Hello Dragon Saga Friends,
lately there is an increased number of players getting the message "Lost connection to the server (0x" followed by a long number.
We have investigated this issue and the result is that this is caused by a synchronization problem between server and client in some cases (for example when the internet connection is a bit unstable, maybe due to a problem with the internet route which can neither be fixed by us nor by you). Due to the increased amount of players getting this I created a fix which should solve this problem.
However, due to the easter holidays I am currently not sure when I will be able to reach someone for creating a patch with a new client exe.
Because of this I have decided to upload a fixed exe for you guys to download.
Since the upload did not go through the official patch creation process the file I uploaded is not code signed (ref. https://en.wikipedia...ki/Code_signing) which can result in a message that this file might not be trusted when it is started. This is for sure not the case. The file is 100% trustworthy. The upload is not an official WarpPortal upload so you will use it at your own risk even though it's uploaded by me personally. The download is secured and encrypted by the usage of the https protocol. You might want to check the downloaded file on http://www.virustotal.com to make sure the file is 100% clean.

After the download is done replace the old DragonSaga.exe (which is found in the Release folder of your Dragon Saga installation -or- for steam users in SteamApps/Common/Dragon Saga/Release) with the downloaded one. The game version of the new client is 10.1.0.15d.
As soon as the new client exe has been added to the official patch this topic will be removed.
