Looks like a good Big Bell killer to me, but not sure how much these %s range or how hard the specific combos are to get. PC? Thoughts?

Must be very difficult. This one is better than Crimson  Rod for killing not only Big Bells, but all Neutral and Formless MVPs, as long as you can +15 it (maybe at +13 or +14 it might already be better than a +15 CR). Imho, the problem of Vicious Weapons is that they're specialized and require a very high level to use, so it's almost impossible to use one as a leveling weapon. Probably most of them will be worth nothing in little time.

Inbefore, I got a Mistress Killing Staff, lol. +X% damage against Wind enemies, Bypass 22% MDEF of Insect monsters. I'm seriously thinking of slotting a Pinguicula Card on it and overupgrading to see the results. The problem is that it will need to be highly upgraded just to compete with my regular Crimson Rod...

Its especially good for leveling in NCT, as it is effective against Big Bell. Now I guess, we need to add Vicious Mind Rod to the list of items a good warlock needs to possess, which will make it even more expensive to play a Warlock as compared to other classes.

It's way too situational, super expensive or hard to get really good enchants to make it better than Crimson Rod for only 1 race tho

Too "meh" for my tastes. Depending on enchants, they can be pretty good, but most of them aren't, so, Crimson or La'cryma still win 99% of the time. :v

Got one:

19% Magic Damage to poison enemies

30% Bypass formless Mdef

Int + 5

Not a Mage player, but is it worth anything?

pretty decent one against formless mobs. with ombh and nct cards achieves 100% pen with a higher matk than la'cryma set

Those are the cases i mean ^. In my case i'll still have to stick with crimson rod since farming those to later on overupgrade is a real pain xD. Thought if someone has the resources for multiple of this kind of staff then can totally make use of these new vicious weaps

also being a lv4 weapon, the wMAtk variance is a bit higher, as well as the base matk being also 50 higher, and recognized spell makes you use the maximum positive value of it.

Lets say Crimson at +14 and this at +12, disregarding enchant and slot, we are looking at a 428~521 total matk for crimson, being more than half eMatk (not boosted by M.Amp) and 429~586 for Vicious, being only about 1/3~1/4 eMatk.

With a very half assed general matk% enchant the vicious one surpasses the crimason for most cases, but only 1 slot means you need at least 2 of these weapons if you wanna do NCT/NP card combos, and they are lv160 weapons, aka you wont use them for a very long time.

Thanks all for sharing thoughts. Still really interested to see what kind of ranges there are on all the enchants and what types of enchants are possible.

Yeah its a bit situational, but since NCT and Big Bells are basically how you level up from 150 to 175, its definitely far more useful than other situational weapons/gears/cards.
