Fun fact though: Blacksmith Blessing was released on iRO several weeks before the refinement update even hit kRO Sakray.

You can still sell them now.. a lot of pubs opening at eden buying Blacksmith Blessing. But i heard the update for refine to +9 is coming soon^TM

May I know the rate of blacksmith blessing is it same as safe 10 cert? Anyone know the rate of the successful refinement for both of these items from +9 to +10 for level 4 weapon?

Blacksmith blessing doesn't increase refine rate. Just prevent your equipment from being destroyed or downgraded when refinement fails.

It's a troll certificate. Since Safe certs prevents breaking, isn't it essentially the same as a safe cert but a different name?

It is a safe cert, but works past +7, different from the safe certs we currently have.

The purpose of that is to trick people to spend lots money to get it before they announce it as a pretty much useless item.

might as well just wait for random hammer events.

 

if they only made it work with enriched ores then it's a decent refining system.

I mean I have to admit, it is very irresponsible for a company to sell a non-functional item that literally does nothing but was advertised as functional. I'm surprised you guys haven't been sued by the players for selling something like that.

It wasnt WP that overhyped the item and vended it for 100~200m with their merchants :v

If no one paid that price to begin with even when the item was first added, no one will be this butthurt about it. But ppl jumped into the hype train, sucks for them.

it was, but it wasnt WP that said they should sell for 100~200m like players were doing. They bought on the hype that these would work like Safe Certs up to +10 refines (info on this part was already out), and valued them the same as the current Safe to 10 Certs. In fact it was known that more than one would be consumed at a time when using it the higher the upgrade was, but ppl still vended at Safe to 10 prices.

It's because despiste Campitor explaining how it worked, some stupid people insisted in saying that it would automatically upgrade the item to +8/+9/+10.

This system is actually much better than using HD ores only. Try spending 1b in HD ores to have your +7 item back at +3 and you'll love BSBs.
