Quests

• The next new Headgear quest, the Yoyo Hat, is available. Speak to Frank in Morocc (who has moved to his own tent at 118, 93). Certificates can be found in the treasure caches.
  • To create this headgear you'll need the following:
    • 500 Bananas
    • 2 Claw of Monkey
    • 10 Yoyo Tails
    • 1 Yoyo Doll
    • 1000 Zeny
    • 1 Yoyo Hat Certificate

​Events

• Putting in a Rockridge themed Area on Classic!
  • Cow Raiders and their Coyote are invading Hugel!
  • These monsters will drop tokens and bullets that will become useful starting next week so hold on to them!
• 100% EXP + 50% Drops until the end of the month!
• 4 day Free VIP event!

Could you elabourate a little on the Rockridge area? Is this a map/town? Are there monsters? If it's a monster map what kind of difficulty/level ranges will the maps be? What will the drops be? Will this actually be going in today? Will the files be available from the Classic patcher or do we also need to patch Renewal?

Monsters from Rockridge (specifically Cow Raiders and their coyotes) are invading Hugel. They drop several items, of which the most important is the Rockridge coins. Hold onto these as they'll have more value next week.

 

We tried to get an actual Rockridge map to work but unfortunately the Classic infrastructure can't support the features of the new maps.

102 broken shotgun

61 crude ammo

54 crude scimiter

12 buffalo bandit mane

12 worn revolver

34 great nature

2 guild surplus box

 

no rockridge coins.....am i looking for coins? or is it the crude ammo i'm holding? do i hold all of it and turn in for coins latter?

 

if it is the crude ammo, only the red bandanna pistol shooting ones drop that

The Rockridge coins are the most valuable but they're the rarest.

That said, hold on to as much Rockridge loot as you can, including broken guns and crude ammo. They'll have a use.

Some more info would be swell. You've just given us a huge exp/drops event and free VIP for the weekend, you havent yet given anyone an actual reason to visit Hugel. Vague "just hold onto everything!" comments sounds to me you dont actually have anything planned yet for next week.

after reading this i realized they rlly doooo. i didnt notice cuz i been farming with a crit 99/70 reborn with my gears.... so it was fine. but, ya. try that on a run-of-the-mill toon. or anything not bypassing a lot of def. lotta time to get these coins here. lol.

I dont think there's any issues with itemIDs, just monsterIDs and hats. Honestly the restrictions are not that bad, there's plenty that can be done if the GMs are willing.
