Hi,

 

I was so eager to try RO again. I was even going to call my guild from years ago. But I decided to try before calling them.

 

And... 

 

I have more than 500 ping. The character is even blinking/teleporting on screen because of the lags. 

 

It's UNPLAYABLE. 

 

That's truly sad.

 

Can you do something about the lags please ?

 

The game is great. Don't kill it before this server gets a chance to succeed.

Im lagging too, only in ragnarok, my rig is new and my connection is fine...

Im next to a mob and try to attack it, another player, 20meter away is faster and kills it what?!.. pure lag sometimes

What antivirus/firewall are you running? Occasionally antivirus programs can interfere with gameplay on MMORPGs by blocking packets, especially if you find that you disconnect a lot. Try adding an exception for the program in your antivirus settings and make sure to run the game as administrator.

They would need to see a Tracert to be able to help. Just yelling at them about it isn't going to solve anything.

I do live in another country and I'm not having so much trouble with lag or latency. Only isolated cases

Yeah, I only have lags with Ragnarok.

 

- High end PC (i7 / GTX 970)

- Good enough internet (75 MB / 15 ms ping speetest)

- Tried all the solution of the "Do you lag?" thread on this forum (Regedit, VPN tools, etc.)

 

Still lagging.

 

We were lucky to drop an emp and already created our guild. But most of my friend didn't want to leave their "server" to join us because the official server lag way too much. And for me, it's 'official' or nothing :'(

How about they just put a GOOD european server?

 

I would even pay monthly for a lag-free server.

Please!!!! It's a game from 2003 and still lags!!! I play overwatch without any problem.

I think Germany and Spain should really be expecting 200-300ms, the server is in West US.

The best they could do is move it to East US, this would drop 50-80ms for Europeans playing iRO.

I would support that move. It would be healthier for all the iRO servers to provide better ping to Euro players, more of them would stick around and most of them prefer iRO to the poor services the Europe has always had.

or bring back a Restart RO in Europe ( EURO restart )

 

if you stay at colorado host, rename American RO, not IRO please ^^, because you wont see any europeans players on your server, playing with 200ms, isnt playing anymore.

I love how much feedback we are getting here.

 

I wonder how much it cost to buy an official license and run a ragnarok server. The sad thing is that private servers run much better than official ones and Gravity does nothing against them. While at the same time, they don't provide any opportunity for people like us who want to play on official servers.

 

I don't know... maybe Gravity and people providing Ragnarok like WarpPortal already have to much money and just don't care about a real international market. They are just satisfied with the american market. Like @Sixte444 said, you should rename it "American RO" because it's in no way international.

271-350 MS, im located in Sweden. Was so fking excited for this server but I knew the MS would make me login, go to noobgrounds and exit, delete the game which was exactly what happend  .

 

Too bad, there aren't any other servers worth playing, 10-100 populated private servers...

 

Please fix this -_- MS for europe.

As of now lag is inevitable! Try playing RAGNAROK JOURNEY

where there is 0 Lag !
