New forums usually require seeding of topics and sharing of information to kickstart conversations and develop an active community. It takes time.

Most players are on lvl 30+ content, so they don't really visit the town of Jackson anymore. The game seems pretty alive to me, gotta get with a guild to really enjoy the game :)

Hopefully Warp Portal decides to team up with Funimation (again) to advertise with the DVD/Blu-Ray re-release of the series.

I don't understand why this game have 3 English publishers. How the hell they try to advertise this game if they have different policy? Heck, I can't even find which publisher has the right/capability to responding on bugs (WP doesn't have ticket department for Lodoss, and they suggest me to report the bug to JCPlanet =_=) or which one is responsible on creating events.

I found a video on YouTube dated 2 months ago which shows GvG and Raid with large number of players. Now, 2 months later, all those people is gone.

I love this game, because I grew wtih Lodoss anime and manga. I would like to see party search full of party ads, trading board full of selling list, guilds competing on GvG activities, and tens player competing for raids. But with this thinning player base, I have to hold my urge to spent some money on cash item (need reset skill item and growth peal T_T). So please WP or whichever Lodoss publisher, do serious job on advertising and handling this game.

Game is basically on the verge of being cancelled it's only a matter of time. The crappy server location for a global release means that everyone far from Korea will lag and dc excessively and experience abnormally high pings so that market is dead for them (won't get much of any western players at this point and the one's that played quit). The second problem is the client is bad constant crashes/black screen and you are in for a world of a game that borderlines unplayable. The third and final problem is that there is literally no communication at all from these companies about whether they are aware and working on fixes or anything. A lack of communication is a big part of why these games tend to fail when they release to western audience coupled with bad translation and slow update cycles. I wouldn't recommend anyone spend a dime on a game in such a state as that is the recipe for a cancelled/shutdown game. Such wasted potential its a damn shame.

Game got beta and then developers decided to move to a official western release. No schedule with future updates. No plan for community or communication. No GMs. => Poor population.

Publishers after release (How could you not have publishers on release...)

Guess we'll have to see what will happen after the Event ends (next week, 7/20).

True. The worst part is your point no. 3. It's like L&K Logic make a half hearted English version, then throw the license to another company and forget about it. Looking at their forums it's shown that they don't care about growing community. With those BBS style forums and no one to tend the community, they really shoo away players. It's a damn shame how L&K Logic Korea pay the license to Kadokawa just to throw it away. The only one that looks serious to work Lodoss is Game On (Japan).
