I'm not using the stand F keys for my hotkeys and anytime someone 1:1 whispers me my number and alpha keys all start to type in the box until it's closed.  Is there anyway to not have my cursor automatically sent to the dialogue box?

Is that option still enabled by default?!   Geez.

Try the following:

• Close any open windows (such as the inventory window).
• Press escape, and then choose Shortcut configuration.
• Open the Interface tab.
• Click the yellow rectangle that is situated to the right of Friend setup window.
  
  
• Press alt-I.
• Repeat step 4 with Party setup window.
• Press alt-P.
• Press OK.
• Press alt-I.
• Disable the first two options in the window that is opened.
  
  

Your private messages will now be displayed in the message panel instead of in separate windows.

Edit: Corrected the party window shortcut from alt-Z to alt-P.
