This week Gramps Turn In monsters

• Low: Permeter / Rybio
• Mid: Loli Ruri / Naga
• High: Miming / Broken Antique Book

Events

• The fishing event continues until August 31 (Visit Westley in Alberta to start)

Spotlight

• Everything on the server receives 75% EXP 25% Drops until 8/30. After that spotlight events will be returning to their older form where we spotlight certain quests in game. Such as the first of the new spotlights will be the Rockridge Story Quests.

Updates

• Enriched Hammer starts on 7/20 and continues until 8/3
• Adding OCP8 to Grandma Boxter 
• July Costume Box being added to Shelia Boxter
• Costume Fire Sale (includes the Eremes Scarf Box) starts on 7/20 and continues until 7/25
  • Fire Sale NPC is located in the middle of Prontera next to the fountain/statue

 

Pending Issues/Projects

• Kenny

You know, you don't have to keep up with the spotlights. This is the longest spotlight we had and it's obvious to see that attention to it hasn't been given as much as it use to.

You don't need to keep at it with spotlight. Restart doesn't have spotlight and it's doing just fine. Minimize the work that's needed to be done.

It doesn't affect me one way or another. I've done my bio business even when NCT was in (who bring ABs to NCT parties?)

The problem I see is that spotlight is just going to be a continued cycle of people requesting the same spotlight over and over again. It's always about people trying to take advantage of getting a spotlight that's convenient for them. People request spotlights like NCT because they want to do fast leveling and abuse exp modifiers. Why doesn't anyone try and request something like i dunno... mt mjolnir? It's because players want to abuse spotlights and thus the same are always requested, NCT, Lighthalzen, Juno, etc.

In addition to the same requests, the GMs leave them in for over 2 months and it's easy to see that they are lazy with it.

So my suggestion is just to reduce their work load and consider not needing to implement it. It's really not a big deal to have. What matters the most is having EXP events with bigger modifiers. Spotlights doesn't promote people leveling, it's there to take advantage of when EXP events are out so they can level much faster than intended.
