Anyone have advice on where to get starter gear for acolyte or all classes? after Job change please.

you got to run mace or staff. staff are for sale in geffen. mace can find in multiple city. its best to save for a stunner 60k if your going battle priest if your goirng full support just buy the cheapest staff. check out payon cave bats drop lvl 2 mace or you can find one for sale 1-3k. they way RO set up you can play FS completely naked its a waste of money to buy armors from npc shop except a few select items. 

 

check my shop out in payon 198/118 I usually keep stunner on there 51k and cheap gears! mostly stuff for aco as well since its what I main.

 

also when you switch to priest you get free book worth 35k. save for saints robe.

Try using Poring Set for basic gear.

kill skeleton or zombies in dungeons

or loot eluniums/steel

If you are going FS, try saving for an Arc Wand [2] and a pair of fabre cards early on, small healing boost from the extra matk and the extra +2 vit and 200 HP help a ton early game.

 

If you can try and save for a Healing staff for later, the higher the upgrade the better, as that's probably the best weapon we're going to get on an FS for awhile here

 

Slotted saints robe is a great investment as well, pupa card for early game and save for a pecopeco card later if possible

All those cards are overpriced junk. i wouldnt waste money on anyth of those cards he talkin about for one priest dont get enough hp to make pecopeco worth while thats a f2p knight card who cant afford switch armors. . 

 

moreover, id invest in gear that could transition to a wizard or if using saints robe a merchant. 

 

early game on fresh server you want to ignore those Quality of Life cards that are only for rich folk want to make lvl 1-25 quick. id invest in swag headgears. 

obviously, if you find it dirt cheap it may be a good investment but if you blow your first 150k on a fabre card or 700k pupa LMAO your gonna hate playing RO your first 250k should be on ramen hat or snake head. quick n easy to drop a $20 and get ahead with ramen and snake so you can focus on other things.

FS - Ramen Hat - can play completely naked adventure coat (1) book (1)?

ME-Ramen Hat - buy gear that will transition to wizard

Bp- Snake Head - Buy gear that transitions to Merchant

My 93 FS on renewal has over 8.k hp ungeared, so yes you can hit the HP needed to make peco card useful on an FS, if you aren't getting 100 vit for stun immunity you're doing something wrong.

 

HP increasing cards help a ton in RO, and not just early game, the extra +700 HP opens up a ton more leveling spots since you're no longer being 1-shot by everything on the map, so IMO saving 500~700.k for a pupa card is well worth it over the +4 dex from a ramen hat.

 

Saving enough to throw a pupa card into a slotted mantle is my number one priority right now since it makes every class you play 1000% easier to get started and the HP boost is still viable well into late game

700 hp stops water ball? how about jt? how about raydric hit auto attack? your useless pupa 700k junk card in 1hit with auto attack. only thing good for pupa is so you can lvl 1-40 easier. btw it takes like few hours to hit 40. yeah raman hat no good that's why aoa is useless cant sell it and for woe what your pupa gonna do? def not gonna agi down that spam auto attack + increase cast speed yeah or when you get ganked and that agi down saves you. then it take a slot in your armor that could of been used for status or ele defense. there is a place for hp modifier and its on boots.

 

sorry who would pay 1kk++ for an exta 100 hp at lvl 99 after blowing money on pupa.  peco card is not ment for character with crapy vit ratio and any good knight would scrap that junk real quick trying to mvp. 

 

roda frog is 100k wow sp too git gud

even undershirt n panty would resist more dmg then pupa

 

you prob blow 1.5kk on clip too, then that guy uses belt.oldest trick in book and after all these years still working. lmao. most character cant even keep the sp recovery up long enough till long past lvl 24 anyway. you gotta tele from bat in payon in the 30min it takes to 24? haha.

 

take my advise

 

take an hour or 2 and look at all ro cards

80 vit static golem low price card maybe you could use switch by pre-casting hit stun skills. 

 

orc hero card for da ballers

 

 that's even if you need stun resist... as a priest you could possible work it out of template depending on your positioning and common skills & weapon players uses.

 

ill give you this pupa might be good card for fighting a neutral property mob that has no special attack, but to save up 700k in first wave of server is nuts. roda frog 100k + belt 15k it is basically a pupa & clip.
