Not sure what to do here, I started the priest job quest and now I'm in the room with Father Peter (Peter S. Alberto), but when I try to click on him the general message chat just says

"any work in progress (NPC dialog, manufacturing...)quit and try again."

 

I've re-logged in a couple times and I get the same thing; what's happening?

 

EDIT: Stayed in the room for a few minutes and it finally worked!!! Sorry!

You need to wait for a minute before a chat box pops up. Be patient as the priest told you

I just did this and had this happen to me as well.

 

Eventually I hit the "esc" key and then clicked the npc. Dialogue popped right up.

If im not mistaken for priest test, once you get to the room just sit and wait for the timer

Yeah it's really just one of those annoying lil bugs in the script itself, it's mainly called when the server is very occupied, just consider it a waiting room, because it comes back online as often as it can, once its handled the many requests. (The server i'm talking about here for the entire NPC database) Typically its kind of ideal for resource management purpose's to turn off given script functionality of all NPC's if they haven't been used in a while. Certainly puts the server under less strain.

If you can't enter the chat room it means someone is currently taking the test.  

 

You'll notice that the father is facing away from you.

 

When the person taking the test is done the father turns around and people can enter the chat room.
