Is there a way for me to not receive chat messages from all novices or something?  I understand i can reject whispering (and it works well,) but am I really going to be able to block every bot spammer in town?  I find it rather bothersome, but if WP supports it, I need a fix on my end.  Thanks!

This. Would be much easier to explain to my friends how to do it by just throwing them a link rather than having to explain it to in detail to another person the umpteenth time. xD

I tried to follow these instructions:
 

 

 

• All messages begin with a score of 0 (zero). Every phrase that a message contains causes the message’s score to be increased by the phrase’s point_value. If the score becomes greater than or equal toblockSpamThresh, the message will not be displayed by Ragnarok.
• Phrase checking is not case-sensitive. For example, “Ragnarok”, “ragnarok”, and “RAGNAROK” are all identical.
• Ex. addPhrase 1 wu  

 

• Indicates a phrase with point 1
• triggers on DAWGwuTUP, w u, \/\/u, and vvu
•  

 

But it's not working for me, I added lines like:

 

addPhrase 3 "playgame365"

addPhrase 3 "irozenyshop"

addPhrase 3 "mmomb"

addPhrase 3 "goldaa"

 

And they keep appearing, is something wrong?

I added the lines to nospam2.cfg and now its working. Thank you.

I have a more direct approach. 

Why not bundle it into the auto-patcher instead? this way all client'(s) will have it (this would stop all clients from receiving spam from RMters in-game effectively)

U can /nm in town, it will clear ur public chat, u can still read party chat and guild chat. /nm on & /nm off
