IRO RESTART Maintenance

Fixes:

• VIP Compensation: we're going to ask the billing team to attempt another add. The target is this weekend. 
• Distributing the Event WoE participation prize. This will be available from Code the Redeemer in Prontera next to the Silvervine NPCs. Hes functioning and were inserting the items for everyone.
• Mad Bunny Shield Event
  • Small chance to slot any Buckler, Guard, or Shield into a slotted Mad Bunny looking shield with the same stats using silvervine.
  • Flat rate to turn any slotted Buckler, Guard, or Shield into a slotted Mad Bunny looking shield with the same stats using silvervine.
  • ​Campitor Edit: The items all work but we can't get the combat sprites to display right. Were keeping the NPC off until we can get guidance from the studio on how to force the COMBAT sprite of the of the shield working. The inventory sprites work correctly

Updates:

• Path to 2-2 Classes
  • Before we can start releasing 2-2 Classes we need to get WoE going. Currently the process is as follows:
    • WoE Test pt 2 (Announcement Soon)
    • Fix issues with WoE
    • WoE Launch
    • Launch Sage
• Summer Fishing Festival Continues until August 31!
  • If you haven't started the Fishing Festival yet, speak to Westley on the Alberta Docks to begin. There are a variety of rewards that are still available!
• Costume Box II: Gothic Egg
  • Costume Box I is staying for now, so new players just joining us can continue to buy.
• Costume Box III: Helmets Galore
• Race to Second Job Event continues until August 23rd.
  • Any character that reaches second job during this event will get a unique reward.
  • Reward distribution continues! Speak to the Silvervine NPC in Prontera to claim your reward of a Costume King Poring Hat.
• Some small work to try and address some lag issues.

What is the silvervine system?

• The silvervine system is a way for players to gain access to item mall items and unique quest items through in game play or trade with other players.

How do I earn silvervine?

• The silvervine cats will offer a serious of tasks that can be completed for a silvervine. In V2 Silvervine can also be purchased with zeny (limitations apply).
• Silvervine Boxes can be purchased from other players that have purchased them in the item mall.

Wait what were those limitations?

• Characters will be limited to the amount of silvervine that can be earn during the month. Currently the plan is that each character can earn about 100 silvervine per month. Silvervine will be account bound so characters on accounts can pool their silvervine earnings. We will be evaluating how silvervine is earned and used to see if we need to change the system.

What can I use the silvervine for?

• Enriched/HD Ore and almost everything that is currently in the item mall.

What will you change in the future?

• Silvervine will be used to complete headgear event quests and some interesting cosmetic option quests we have planned for the future the future.

Aren't you worried about bots?

• We will be monitoring the bot situation for silvervine and adjust the system as needed to meet the needs of the server.

Please tell me MBS wont have the same effect as on chaos. That is the atk/matk % increase and flat 3 aspd for those who dont know

its a clone of the normal single slot shield, buckler, and guard. Just with the sprite of the MB,

Idk if it's a mistake but it says WOE test on the 10th.... ? Or was that just stating the last one? Or was it supposed to say the date for the second test ?

fugures should stay, only headgears should rotate. Honestly i though that was already a thing and was disappointed when i found out it wasnt the case.

We reach 10k bots soon. When will you solve the botproblem? new players cant levelup their chars cause lowlvlareas are completely overcrowded with bots. you lose lots of cash and players right now.

Camp said in his other thread that some new warp measure is being implemented to help fish bots out. It is in the community chat section i believe. Theyre doing things

Should i say thank you now? Sorry, never. Its o surprise you get bots on a f2p server. They should have expected this and make plans how to solve problemes before launching server and taking the peoples money. its so late now. many people dont really care anymore if they fix things now or not.

Could you say approx what would be the chance of slotting those? About 10% like lvl4 weapons or smaller?

They never made a costume shield. Everything they programmed for that slot has a ton of stats that wouldn't really be right for this server.

Glad to hear that . Last night I checked my old Chaos account and I remember how this server is all about cash shop gear

-Evil Marching as hat 

-Pirate Dagger as low

-Robot Eye as mid 

-mad bunny as shield 

-Fallen as garment 

-Rwc Ring/Pendant as acc . 

 

I probably forgot many . I wish you guys will keep Odin server with droppable gears mostly ! I stopped play Chaos , that was going to ruin me x)

Why am I having trouble connecting to my account again .... "Failed to connect to server" and after numerous tries it does the Cannot connect to server.  Login to warpportal and change password or some BS.

When is this going to be fixed?  I do NOTHING illegal and can never play.  Meanwhile, bots galore seemingly never have trouble getting in.

Just spoke with my neighbor down the street, same ISP as me, obviously different DHCP IPs from our ISP, though.  He's able to get in with no problems whatsoever ...  Why can't warpportal or their IT admins get sh** straightened out?  I don't understand the difficulty of doing this job.
