IRO1 Renewal Weekly Maintenance

This week Gramps Turn In monsters

• Low: Sleeper / Marionette 
• Mid: Cornus / Vanberk
• High: Rake Horn Scaraba / Blue Lichtern

Events

• The fishing event ends next week on August 31 (Visit Westley in Alberta to start if you haven't already!) Be sure to turn in Blue Whales before the event ends!
• Compensation event: Has gone out to affected accounts

Spotlight

• Everything on the server receives 75% EXP 25% Drops until 8/30. After that spotlight events will be returning to their older form where we spotlight certain quests in game. Such as the first of the new spotlights will be the Rockridge Story Quests.

Updates

• Overseas Care Package 9 will be available in the Cash Shop for 300KP
• Tomb of Honor Update is live on Sakray! We're still currently in testing. Please report any bugs over here
• Select old Lucky Boxes will be on sale again this week for a limited time only!

Please for the love of $#@!, remove the "You can't have this item because you will exceed the weight limit" message when you can not pick up an item.  This message is sooooo annoying especially when you can not pick up more than 10 items.  This literally makes you miss messages altogether.  Can you guys make it only say it once when you can not pick up 1 or more items instead of 1 message per item or make it appear only once per minute or something???.  Or better yet, can you make a option to remove the message altogether!!!

Is the Spooky Machine leaving this maintenance?

What happened to receiving global in game messages concerning server shutdowns? I went to character select on two seperate cllients and am kicked out.

The patch server and login server are obviously down -sigh-. Give us some notice perhaps?

Campitor said that i can expect +9 Enforcer Cape bugs to be fixed entirely by this weeks maintenance. Please make this a reality, do not delay this bug from being fixed. Please see the bugs section to see what exactly it is that is wrong with the item. I am really striving to have this item completely and entirely fixed by the time i login tonight. Please do not delay this!!!! I paid real money to not get what the description told me i would receive, i will cry if this gets delayed any longer. Please fix!!!

My wishlist, in no particular order:

- empowered mora gears update for AB and WL: choose what item you want (atm: choose what slot the item you want goes into) and only need +7 to exchange a weapon for it's empowered version (kro got this Oct 14th, 2015)
- uniform quest cooldowns
- Mado Mechanic improvements
- pet hunger bar (even euRO has this wtf)
- Nightmare Old Glast Heim
- less pay2win cash items or some way to earn those items via ingame means (I'm fine with one, both would be most amazing)

- Guarana Candy bulk purchase
- Guild storage

- new guild UI (shows last active date of characters)
- new refinement UI (blacksmith's blessing says hi)
- Brasilis cards
- Excellion set

- Bounty Boards for Verus and Lasagna

Nope, it's still going to be there.

Announcements are still in-game. You may have logged in right after the last announcement.

Unfortunately, we don't have info about that right now.

Eventually, Renewal will receive an update. We haven't received the build yet.

May I ask why this is?
As someone who is relatively new(ly back to Ragnarok Online) is this just a reason to stay away from leveling characters til 8/30?  How does this help anyone?
