Patch Notes v643 / v644

Honor & Valor Gem Update

Honor and Valor gem tiers have been expanded to level 240!  Valor gems can be found at [Valor Materials] Mason, and Honor gems can be found at [Honor Items] Henry in Junon Polis.

 

 

Elemental System

Sorcery, Holy, Poison and Ghost have been rebalanced to have an equal number of strengths and weaknesses between each element.  The new dynamics between each element are summarized in the table below:

 

 

Table is read row first - e.g. Holy is strong defending against Fire for Armor Element table, and Wind damage is weak against Sorcery for Weapon Element table.
 

Item Mall

• The Item Mall Promotion side bar has been replaced with a Featured tab, making it simpler than ever to see what's hot in the Item Mall!
• More items are now displayed per page in the Item Mall window.

 

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Corrected degrade/destroy warning messages when attempting to refine grade 8, Honor and Valor equipment beyond grade 15.
• Corrected Magic Defense bonus scaling on Drifter jewelry set.
• Corrected issue preventing Pharaoh's Key from dropping for level 250 characters.
• Corrected item tooltip description for Lucky Gear Box.
• Upgrades to server hardware to improve network performance.
• Corrected item descriptions for elemental scrolls to reflect new elemental strengths and weaknesses. (v644)
• Corrected alignment of "Loading Item Mall..." message in Item Mall window. (v644)

Ya'll forgot to update the in-game item descriptions of the scrolls themselves. But glad you finally took that chart I sent you seriously.

Uhh so sorcery armor is strong against neutral weapon, but neutral weapon is strong against sorcery armor? I don't think this chart is right and is very confusing unless I'm just completely missing something. Just a list of every element and what their strengths and weaknesses would be better imo.

Good work getting around to balance the elemental system more and make it so the duped holy scrolls aren't the god element.

I see how you are reading it but you're misinterpreting the chart. Neutral is weak to sorcery, poison, holy, and ghost both offensively and defensively.

i thought the in game description of the peridot was jsut not updated but it seems it was not implemented as well... i jsut wasted my headgear's gem lol

Just a warning to everyone, The 'Compatible slot(s)' section is wrong. Do not go by that, stick with the item descriptions in-game.

You should read it from left to right, not from the top to bottom. lol

Sorry for the confusion! The patch notes have been corrected to match the in-game slot requirements.

i've been waiting for the new elemental table update, very nice!

This looks much more balanced
