yes
not by chance, if you time it right, it will absord the spell. It however only absorbs single target and more basic spells, not 3rd class era ones.

Why is Fiber Lock disabled in so many places? Heard it was unavailable to use in Bio 5, and now in ET as well. I never played Sorcerer class myself, so anyone who played Sorcerer before can give some hints on why it was necessary to disable Fiber Lock?

Teleport is disabled inside instances. Movement disabling abilities are just very powerfull to cheese out the bosses/monsters when they cant do anything against you.
That raises the question why did they release such skills in the first place. And, if they knew they fked up with fiber lock why did they give vacuum to sorc? If it was meant to be woe-only then why didn't they make it a miscellaneous skill avaiable only during woe? Why isn't movement impairment a status so it doesnt work on boss protocol monsters?
Sigh, Kro

It wouldn't be that ridiculous if sorcerer had no strong AoE spell, being designed, instead as a disable-specialist class. kRO class designers really suck.

sorry if i am asking this questions here, 'cause i can't find any threads that will confirm these:1) Is Fiber Lock disabled in Endless Tower (for MVPs)?2) Is Magic Rod absorb damages by chance?for magic rod, ive tested it on Bijou's single target (casting) skillsand it seems it absorbs by chance..sorry for bad english
Fiberlock has been already answered.
Magic Rod works on some skills and most single target magic but, is pain to actually time that if you dont have it at lvl 5, the windows of the skill working is too small to actually try to time it. About not working on 3rd skills, im not so sure i remember i put once magic rod lvl 5 just to test the viability of the skill, and im maybe missing something but i was tanking 3 WLs doing soul expansion on me and thing is sometimes the skill just dont do dmg wich i assume was because of magic rod (lvl 5 has a bigger time window where the skill is active) but maybe was something else.
