Cannot multiclient

Hi, I'm trying out Renewal.

 

I can't seem to multiclient. When I have an RO window open and open either...

- the Renewal Setup window

- or a second Renewal game window

my screen turns black for about 2 mins then the ragnarok windows error.

 

Is there any way to fix this? :S I asked other players and noone seems to have this issue.

Hello,

 

Make sure your client is up to date, as well as your graphic card and operating system files.

 

To check the client:

Load your game client, on the Password/ID screen pull the Copyright Gravity black bar down to get the serial number.

If it matches the one in the picture below then your client is up to date, if not then you may have issues running the client.

Other things to look for:

Please make sure that Ragexe.exe and Ragnarok.exe are set to run as an admin all the time.

In addition, launch Setup.exe as an admin and set video settings appropriately.

Let's look at the crash log, see the following.

  • Run the game client like you normally do.
  • Have the crash window pop up.
  • Close the crash error.
  • Download Appcrashview application from here (self host).
  • Uncompress the file with Winzip or 7zip.
  • Open Appcrashview folder, right-click on AppCrashView.exe and choose Run as administrator.
  • A list of crash errors will appear, find the most recent Ragexe.exe error, click on it.
  • Below in the application a log will appear with details, copy-paste that part and post it in your next reply.

The log will be lengthy and properly best sent into a PM, so please prepare the log and send me it through a private message.
