Which gives more matk? Assuming all +7?

In order for the gentleman's staff to win over the evil bone wand the 7% bonus MATK you get has to be higher than the bonus 70MATK you get from evil bone wand, not counting the 2-8% MATK increase you get from the cap.

 

To be honest you don't even need to do the math lol. Just having a +7 skull cap will give a bigger %MATK increase than the +7 gentleman's staff bonus, while also having the +10MATK bonus per refine of the evil bone wand.

Let's assume you have 85 of INT = 127.5 base MATK.

 

+7 Evil Bone Wand & 7 Skull Cap [1] Combo:

 

Bonus +7 EBW = +70 MATK, +4 INT (+6 MATK), +110 MATK

 

Bonus +7 Skull Cap = + 6% MATK

 

Total = 332.31 MATK

 

+7 Gentleman Staff [1] & Magician Hat Combo:

 

Bonus +7 Gentleman Staff = + 15% MATK, Dex +1

 

Bonus Magician Hat = +1 Dex

 

Combo = +2 Dex and +2 INT (3 MATK), + 7% MATK (Refine).

 

From your dex close in multiple of 5 with the combo you gain +1 MATK.

 

Total = 160.43 MATK.

 

PS: No cards included.

 

As in melee weapons, the gain of atk base in the matk case is well above the applied%.
