Happened to me too, gave candy cane, get nothing. No buff, no random teleport, nothing 
Edit: Happened twice in a row now.

I got an unknown item too, assumed it was the Skelion's accessory since I already got the red bell choker. True enough, when I double clicked it my Skelion grew a black mane.

so i don't know where to post this but
I had a skellion and it starved to death (i know, i'm a terrible father) but I want to know how to get it again, I killed the demon again but i couldn't get another egg and the npc won't stop saying "i like it down here"
