[Varitas]

 

It's time to gussy up our Steam section by designing some killer Steam Trading Cards.  Winners will have their art immortalized forever as a Steam Trading card available through Steam!  The contest will go from Nov. 3rd - Nov. 30th. 

 

We will not be having 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, but will instead choose up to three winners!  These winners will have their designs displayed on Steam as trading cards as well as earn 500 IM Points. 

 

All remaining participants will receive 100 IM points. 

 

However, in order to qualify for the points, you must submit a qualified image. Qualified images must adhere to the rules below. 

 

Rules: 

 

1. There will only be one entry per player.  

- All players attempting to apply more than once on multiple accounts will be disqualified. 

 

2. Must utilize only Metal Assault Approved Assets.  

- To assist with this we have created a fansite kit. 

 

 

 

3. All entries must be suitable for all ages.   

 

4. Event is open to all players regardless of level, experience, or activity. 

 

5. Include your In-game name so that we know who to credit and send prizes to. 

 

6. There are two parts to the entry.  A small and large card.  They must be submitted at exactly 1920 px wide x 1080 px tall, with a companion image at 206 px wide x 184 px tall.

(On a side note. Is there anyway to tuck away images on these forums? Like a spoiler tag where you have to click it to open the rest? Would probably help make a post not so long X-x)

Hi everyone, 

 

You are doing awesome, though I realized that there might be some confusion in regards to the small Companion Image.  I noticed that in both entries they appeared to be simply resized images, which unfortunately is making them look squished.  In reality, they should be redesigned images that fit into the dimensions without squish.   Also if any of them are turning out weird you can also directly send them to myself or Tirfing.

Mekoi: Love the wallpapers by the way.  They would make good Trading Card Images too.
