WoE pots pretty much make everyone invincible. Yeah buffs are nice but not necessary and sharing with a full support priest lowers my EXP/hr

 

Does anyone see this as a problem? I'm building a Priest at the moment, and outside of CTHO.. like who even needs a priest?

Besides CtHos .... Woe guilds (to some extend) and yes, priest are screwed basicly since the beginning it should be getting better when silvervine boxes reach a criticial cost mass (at least a little)

Priests are really valuable in C2 parties for aspersio. and that place gives pretty good xp

 

Another option is to get Turn Undead and level at Anubis

I highly doubt people invite a priest to a party at C2 for aspersio. Don't they just have a slave and WoE pot through everything?

Thats actually how quite a few priests leveled to 99 when the server was just starting.

Also even if you have your own 2nd exe buffer, you still want to have a full party for max exp. Most Knights dont have a buff exe and you dont want to buff 7 knights plus yourself. So active priests are indeed welcome in ct2.

CT HO parties need priests, and it works rather well!

Priest are VERY useful and will never get replaced by pots, there are many crucial buffs and support they do for parties of all kinds, PvM, PvP, MvP, WoE. You cant compete with pots on healing, Heal skill is not good enough and very SP ineficient.


Level up guide:
70 Up to 85~90ish:
1: Party CTHO FS
2: Party Village HO (buffing at entrance)

83+ UP to 99:
1: Party Gh castle_02 (needs aspersio)
2: Solo kill anubis (needs TU)
3: Tryhard CTHO (should take a while)
4: Adb Guild dungeon party FTW

What about CT Anolians? They need priest?

Never tried majororus, someone had already? What about that exp? Should be good with bard and full party right?

i have a KN+FS priest and after trying many things and i can tell you majos work like C2 in terms of killing. characters leeching, kn potting and BBing thru everything and maybe a sage to water enchant the weapon. majos is better exp and easier not to die but have no valuable drops at all and its a hassle to get down there

Everyone who's anyone has an OC/DC/Vend merchant lol.

If I were to do an FS priest it would be asperio and sit in C2 all day in a share party buffing, picking up any leftover ground loot possible.
