Hi all!

 

I was planning on leveling a sura on some bb's I've had gathering dust in storage and I was just curious if there was an established list of gears that work best nowadays! I know there's Nirvana's stat calc, and I'm happy to spend a few hours on it looking up gear but I was hoping someone might be able to save me some time if they're currently using gfist on anything. I have a few gears that I expect will be either ideal or at least close to optimal damage but would love some input! Here's what I've got so far..

 

Upper head: +9 Maestro Flapping Evil Wing

Mid Head: Fatasm Sunnies

Lower: Mob Scarf

Armor: Empty as of now, would love some feedback. I'm assuming Bryn is pretty sweet but I'm not sure if I can snag one, any alternatives? Or is bryn by far the best?

Weapon: +15 double lib Crimson mace / +12 KVM Mace

Shield: I don't have a +10 scutum but I'll see if I can borrow one, seems pretty good for that 10% sp. Is +9 gaia/athenos shield better? Perhaps +12 MBS?

Mant: +9 FAW Fighting spirit / wakwak, I'm curious if something like an aliot int +x GFSS is much stronger? Or if there's better alternatives

Shoes: Variants (Does superior temp str make a significant difference?)

Accessories: Keraunos of Mad Berserker

 

Then my follow up is what's worth dualing? I can possibly level my sorc a bit to get striking, I can borrow GK / mental sensing / windmill most likely if I have a few friends on and an ab for odins / imp / bless etc. Anything besides +20 str/int foods, increase sp potions that I should be using? I know there's that +20 attack / +10 luck + 20 matk food I can snag as well.

 

Any comments are greatly appreciated, it's been quite a few years since I've popped bb's so wasn't sure if I'm missing out on anything!

Mid Head: Fatasm Sunnies- I went with fatasm bdm

Lower: Mob Scarf- I went with banshee (I don't think matk helps in gfist)

Weapon: +15 double lib Crimson mace / +12 KVM Mace- depends +13-+15 2x liberation Robot arms if you can dish out over 160 str if not the crimsom mace is ok

Accessories: Keraunos of Mad Berserker - I stuck with 2x shura gloves since I was too lazy to change to keraunos

There are my opinion base upon my experience. I'm sure its different from others.

Mob Scarf can be great if you can get the atk% part to a significant amount.

Look into Giant's Protection for accessories.

At max level, a GFSS with INT enchants should do better damage than a FAW.

For midgear, Fantasm adds SP, but reduces INT. This gear should be replaced upon reaching the level where the int deducted is more than the SP gained from the hg.

Remember about spellshield too for free bonus dmg.
