Exactly, I stopped playing RO 2 years ago because of this, I have pretty solid equip and I even bought Infinity(VIP) 2 times (for me and my wife), but I don't care anymore because this server is so terrible.
I wrote so many e-mails to Warpportal if they could give us an European server or at least add an European channel to the re:start server, the answer was always "NO".
It's like they don't want more player and more money.

The problem with that is they would have to rent (or buy) an office in Europe some where, hire people to run and maintain it, and then people will rush from the existing servers to the new server, never mind the fact that WP would be stepping on the toes of the other official servers. It would be a lose-lose for everyone.

 

Instead of trying to get WP to do the impossible, why not flood the European server's "management" with complaints?

Because they blatantly only speak french and their english is worse than google translation and since they are stuck up frenchies they don't give a poop.

 

I really wish WP would have bought the EU rights instead of fRO.

 

And they don't need to get an office in europe, afterall WP's RO2 is basically a global server and not NA only so it works there, why wouldn't it work for RO1 as well?

 

But it's too late now unless fRO someday decides to give up on Ragnarok to allow another hoster aquire the european rights for RO.
