currently, Cold Snap's success rate is 100% reducing movement speed to 0 and has the highest skill range.
any mage that uses this instantly locks an opponent at a distance. It has the longest cooldown timer, but with absorb and this skill combined. People actually build this class intentionally only because they know it is OP.
(option 1) reducing the success rate 80% ~ 90% success rate is fair.
or
(option 2) reducing the cooldown timer of the skill but also reducing the success rate further down to let's say 60% ~ 70%
when the success rate is 100%, the mage can just stand in 1 spot the whole time until the initiator dies which is really pathetic. With a lower success rate and a lower cooldown, the mage has to move upon failure making the user interface a little more difficult but also separating the pros from the good.
mages are ranged, and like any ranged class, they are meant to kite, but when the success rate of Cold Snap is 100%, they actually don't have too.
