Bourdie's Doram Guide ( Updated)

Wpgouxf.png

What is the doram?

Doram, is the small and tender cat that has come to the lands of Rune Midgar to enchant us with its versatility in uses and its great power (it is impressive as something so tender, it has so much power), this little cat is originally from Lasagna, a new town to which you can go from Izlude.

How do I build my Doram?

Although you do not believe it, these kittens have 3 different types of branches (Physical, Magic, Support) and a fourth type that is a mixture between two of these branches (Magic / support)

Which of these builds is better?

Well Midgardian young, this depends on you want to use the potential of this little cat. For example; We have the physical, has a really huge power at such a level that can only fight against MvPs if it is properly equipped, the Magician has a pretty good power thinking that the monsters of higher level have a lot of mdef, even so this type of cat also it is a great debuffer when it is needed, and the support is a great sage as far as curation and protection arts are concerned.

Physical Doram.

This small feline with great devastating power will shake your rivals and devastate monsters (but your weakness will be the ghost-type monsters), this build is perfect for you if you like damage classes and big numbers when attacking.

Gears:

Headgear(Upper)

  • 18563.png Heart Wing Hairband [1] - Luxury item, really an excellent item if you have the right combo to keep the damage and increase your DPS (Damage per second), you need to be in refine +12 to have a good reduction of after cast delay.
  •  Devil's Hand - The best hat for this physical kitty, 100% bypass to +10 and aspd all that your little kitten needs.
  • 18856.png White Drooping Eddga Hat - Great power of damage to a high refine, basically the best hat so far that you can use.
  •  Republic Hat [1] - +10 I think it's the best hat for long ranged damage for all class and also has slot!
  • 18522.png Evil Marching Hat [1] - A very good option for players without the purchasing power to buy the previous hat also has a slot.
  • 5359.png Airship Captain's Hat [1] - The cheapest option, special for newbie players and has slot.

Headgear (Middle)

  • 5933.png Crow Tengu Mask - The best option for this build, increases the damage in a brutal way but it is quite expensive, only to be used with the combo.
  •  Imperial Feather - if you have the possibility to use 120 agi and you have the combo Imperial Feather + Royal Guard Necklace you have a great bonus of atk + aspd!
  • 18813.png New Wave Sunglasses - This item works perfectly in combo with the heart wing hairband, together they grant a great reduction of delay after casting for which your DPS increases brutally.
  • 2202.png Sunglasses [1] - A good option only if you have the Mob Scarf, you can use the slot version if you have the money to buy it or the version without slot that costs 20k in the shop in alberta.
  • 18603.png Black Devil Mask [1] - one of the cheapest options, the version with slot gives +1 to all stats and the version without slot gives you +2 all stats.

Headgear (Lower)

  • 19112.pngTengu Scroll - Only use it if you have Crow Tengu Mask, in order to obtain the maximum bonnus of this combination.
  • Royal Guard Necklace - gives +1 of aspd by itself and makes combo with the Imperial Feather.
  • 28502.png Mob Scarf - Like the previous one, only used in combination with sunglases or glasses.
  • 5361.png Gangster Scarf - The cheapest option and yields a lot for the 5 atk it gives you.

Weapon

  • 1695.pngFine Foxtail Replica [2] - the ideal weapon for lvl 100 or more, when passing refine +7 you get a big damage bonus.
  • 1696.png Elaborate Foxtail Replica [2] - This option is for levels 140 or higher, as a level 3 weapon grants a greater bonus of atk by refine, in addition to passing the refine +7 you get a higher bonus of atk than the 100 level weapon.
  • 1697.pngElaborated Yellow Foxtail Replica [1] - This is your final weapon (need lvl 175), this great weapon has a great damage bonus both base and refine to being level 4, when passing the refine +7 it increases its atk in a brutal way, besides that it can be enchanted with Expert Archer.

Shield

  • 28901.png Mad Bunny Special [1] - For me one of the best shield in the game increases your atk, matk, aspd, a high refine prevents you from interrupting skills casting, and also has a slot when you refine on +10, it really is great! .
  • 28900.png Royal Guard Shield [1] - A good shield for switching, because it gives you the possibility to use shield spell lvl1, so in combination of a shield with great defense, you will be awarded atk according to the amount of defense of the shield to which you switch.
  •  2168.pngImmune Shield [1] - A shield that must be refined to +12 to yield to its maximum capacity, gives you a reduction to a really large neutral element and also a small one to water, earth, fire and wind elements by 5% .
  • 2115.pngValkyrja's Shield [1] - This shield is cheap and all terrain, gives you a great reduction of elemental damage except wind and poison.

Armor set (For Physical, Magical & Supp doram)

  • 15126.png Doram Suit [1] / 20788.png Doram Manteau [1] / 22083.png Doram Shoes [1]  the ideal team for level 100 if you do not have the money to pay for high level equipment.
  • 15129.png Luxurious Doram Suit [1] / 20789.png Luxurious Doram Manteau [1] / 22084.png Luxurious Doram Shoes [1] - Like the previous one this is the cheap option if you still do not have the money just that this is for levels 140 or more.
  • 15156.png Elegant Doram Suit [1] / 20790.png Elegant Doram Manteau [1] / 22085.png Elegant Doram Shoes[1] - The final version of this set corresponds to level 175 and gives a large amount of hp and sp in addition to reduction to the neutral element, flee, and reduction of fixed cast time.

Armor

  • 15205.pngMedical Scrubs [1] - This is the last item that completes the delay after casting combo, gives good defense bonuses, delay, hp recovery, damage to demihuman, but you must refine it to +9 minimum to see all your bonuses work.
  •  Abyss Dress - Wow! This armor is something crazy! increase the damage vs shadow and undead element and vs demon and undead races considerably!
  • 15145.png Evil Dragon Armor [1] - A good armor must be refined to +10 to yield maximum capacity, gives leech of hp and sp when attacking by chance.
  • 15175.png Flame Dragon Armor [1] -  Although it resembles the previous one, it grants damage to MvP according to the refine it has.
  • 15147.png Abusive Robe [1] - A great option against monsters type Demi-human, demon and undead, must be +10 to distinguish the bonus that grants, can be enchanted with str / agi / vit / int / dex / luk.
  • 19048.pngElemental Tight [1] - A good option if you do not have much money, a +9 gets its maximum bonus of ranged damage which makes it a great armor for our feline.

Garment

  • 2589.png Fallen Angel Wings [1] - The best option of garment, since it grants bonuses according to your stats and also can be enchanted with Expert Archer.
  • 2576.png Heroic Backpack [1] - The cheapest option within high gear, must be at +7 minimum to start giving their respective bonuses.

Shoes

  • 22036.png Hero Silverleather Boots [1] - I really can not think of anything better than this to use, it grants a lot of perfect ranged damage to throw our worm to the attack.
  •  Gray Wing Boots - A very good boot for ranged damage for all class that only needs to be refined to +7 to give you all your bonuses really something that you must take into account!
  •  Fluffy Fish Shoes - really my favorite boots, this item increases your peculiar doram capabilities to a level that you will be god !!! Definitely the kitty End Game boots, need to be +7 to deliver all your bonuses.

Accesories

  • 28380.png Fresh Grass Necklace [1] - Perfect Dodge +5. Reduces Scar of Tarou cooldown by 5 sec.
  • 28419.png Basic Bunny Charm [1] - For lvl 100 and above. DEX +1. When worn with Fresh Grass Necklace, Doram Manteau, Doram Suit and Doram Shoes gives max HP +20%, max SP +3%, Lunatic Carrot Beat damage +100% .
  • 28420.png Fair Bunny Charm [1] - For lvl 140+,DEX +2. When worn with Fresh Grass Necklace, Luxurious Doram Manteau, Luxurious Doram Suit and Luxurious Doram Shoes gives max HP +25%, max SP +6%, Lunatic Carrot Beat damage +150% .
  • 28421.png Advanced Bunny Charm [1] - For lvl 175, DEX +3. When worn with Fresh Grass Necklace, Elegant Doram Manteau, Elegant Doram Suit and Elegant Doram Shoes gives max HP +30%, max SP +9%, Lunatic Carrot Beat damage +200%.
  • 28424.png Plump Earthworm Charm [1] - Best Option for Picky Peck Damage.

Stats.

  • Str: 120 [It is the main source of damage to your doram, plus you will receive the maximum bonus of both tengu set and mob scarf if you use them.] (can low it to 90 if u want imperial set bonus)
  • Agi: 90 [For Aspd in your picky peck and flee rate] (can change it to 120 to get imperial set bonus)
  • Vit: 90 [while less % of hp you have less hit your picky peck, so having 90 of vit will give you a large pool of hp]
  • Int: 2 [left point c: ]
  • Dex: 120 [To get the Plump Earthworm Charm max bonus on picky peck damage]
  • Luk: 23 [left points c: ]

Final Skill Build Recommended.

OIPCvWA.png

PvM lvling tactics.

EFfvRnr.png

100+ just use lunatic carrot beat ur main AoE skill and only  :p_laugh: , just regroup alot of mob turn on jour stoop and let the carrots rain!!!!

140 Its time to Bio4 You now are a strong cute cat who can kill faster anything, ur main skill now will me Picky Peck and now ur job is  Randels in Bio4 with ur party, remember use shadow element (Cused Water) and unfrozen armor,  following this way u reach 175 easy.

MvP Tactics

 nCfqbf3.png

Already leveled, now it's fun, with the equipment you'll have, you'll be a killing machine, either alone or with a party with stringer + AB, now you'll know the elemental conveter to its maximum splendor and the basic racial and resistance cards, a doram of this type can kill all kinds of mvp except the ghost type, just as in pvm you already have your stoop technique perfected so you will not hesitate to use it when the MvP try to touch your whiskers, and then when you least expect them Throw worms in the face until they die, which will not be many seconds before it falls down to your little feet.

Magical Doram.

The magic feline, this was my option when these kittens came to Rune-Midgar, I really like what they can do in both AoE damage and 1vs1 can deal with any kind of monster except Holy type, also has a good amount of skills that help you by giving more atk and matk, like the party, as if that were not enough you can defend the defense of your enemy up to 50% less, in the case of the MvP, and 100% less in the case of other players (only Hard Def and Hard Mdef), his specialty is throwing fruits and twigs.

Gears:

Headgear(Upper)

  • 18849.png Celine's Ribbon [1] - For me the best option that this kitten can use, has a great burst of magic damage, can be enchanted and is not very difficult to get.
  • 18848.pngLush Rose [1] - The cheap version of the Celine's Ribbon, you can also love depending on your refine is the magic damege burst that grants.
  • 5464.png Zaha Doll [1] - If you do not have Celine's Brooch this is your option, at a high refine it gives a really incredible magic damage burst.
  • 5564.png Crown Of Deceit [1] - If you are new to the game this is your option, it reduces the casting and grants magic damage.
  • 18539.png Skull Cape [1] - One of my favorite hat in the game, gives good magic damage and a refine not so high, really a very good hat.
  •  King of Spirit Circlet - this hat provides 100% bypass of the mdef of all the monsters! the definitive hat for this magical kitty, it needs to be +10 to give you all the buffs.

Headgear (Middle)

  • 2202.png Sunglasses [1] - As in the physical doram only use this if you have Mob Scarf, as it will give you an incredible damage burst.
  • 5325.png Robo Eye - The option of all players who do not have money, 5% matk that come super good to this kitten.

Headgear (Low)

  • 28502.png Mob Scarf - The low par excellence for this kitten, in combination with sunglasses gives many bonuses that will help you to annihilate what stands in front of you.
  • 5362.pngNinja Scroll - Quite cheap, and 1% matk that will always be well received.

Weapon

  • 1691.png Wondrous Foxtail Staff [2] - the ideal weapon for lvl 100 or more, when passing refine +7 you get a big magical damage bonus.
  • 1692.png Magic Foxtail Staff [2] - This option is for levels 140 or higher, as a level 3 weapon grants a greater bonus of matk by refine, in addition to passing the refine +7 you get a higher bonus of matk than the 100 level staff.
  • 1693.png Magic Yellow  Foxtail Staff [1] - This is your final weapon (need lvl 175), this great weapon has a great damage bonus both base and refine to being level 4, when passing the refine +7 it increases its matk in a brutal way, besides that it can be enchanted with Spell.

Shield

  • 28901.png Mad Bunny Special [1] - The best option for this build, increases your damage and makes it interruptible when refining +12.
  • 2198.png Laphine Shield [1] - +20 matk that will always be welcome.
  • 2115.png Valkyrja's Shield [1] - As in the physical build, is the shield par excellence for all-terrain players who seek to have good damage without losing the reductions.
  • 2168.png Immune Shield [1] - A shield that must be refined to +12 to yield to its maximum capacity, gives you a reduction to a really large neutral element and also a small one to water, earth, fire and wind elements by 5% .

Armor

  • 15146.png Flattery Robe [1] - My God with this the doram really exterminates any monster that you find, it can be enchanted and by refine the charms increase the damage almost exponentially.
  •  Abyss Dress - Wow! This armor is something crazy! increase the damage vs shadow and undead element and vs demon and undead races considerably!

Garment

  • 2589.png Fallen Angel Wing [1] - The wings that will make this kitten hit so hard that you think you need nerf, can be enchanted with Spell which decreases your cast time and increases your magic damage.
  • 2576.png Heroic Backpack [1] - I really do not recommend using this if you are the magic type you need a refine +7 to give you the bonuses and they are not fundamental for your damage what gives you.
  • 20718.png Giant Faceworm Snake Skin [1] - If you do not have the money for faws or for the hbp, this is your best option if you have int charms really increase your damage to a refine on +8.

Shoes

  • Here is basically to use the boots of the doram set with a Nightmare Verit (if they are +9).
  •  Fluffy Fish Shoes - really my favorite boots, this item increases your peculiar doram capabilities to a level that you will be god !!! Definitely the kitty End Game boots, need to be +7 to deliver all your bonuses.

Accesories

  • 28382.png Charming Grass Necklace [1] - MDEF +5. Reduces variable casting time of Catnip Meteor by 1 second.
  • 28416.pngBasic Leaf Charm [1] - For lvl 100+. INT +1. When worn with Charming Grass Necklace, Doram Manteau, Doram Suit and Doram Shoes gives max HP +10%, max SP +10%, Catnip Meteor damage +100%.
  • 28417.pngFair Leaf Charm [1] - For lvl 140+. INT +2. When worn with Charming Grass Necklace, Luxurious Doram Manteau, Luxurious Doram Suit and Luxurious Doram Shoes gives max HP +15%, max SP +15%, Catnip Meteor damage +150%.
  • 28418.pngAdvanced Leaf Charm [1] - For lvl 175. INT +3. When worn with Charming Grass Necklace, Elegant Doram Manteau, Elegant Doram Suit and Elegant Doram Shoes gives max HP +20%, max SP +20%, Catnip Meteor damage +200%.
  • 28422.png Shining Branch Charm [1] - The accesorie for SV Steam Spear, increase your Sv Steam Spear damage by your Int (120 int = 100% increase) and reduce the variable casting of the skill in 50%.

Stats

Leveling way...

hUtBY7t.png

Try reach Int 120, Dex 80, Vit 100, Str 40, and rest all for Luk (every 3 points of luk increases your matk by 1).

Final Leveling Way....

VMrLq2u.png

Now I want max my vit to 120 cause Im hybrid Magic/supp but u can leve vit in 100 and add all left points to luk .

Final Skill Build.

ogcLa4U.png

Leveling Tactics.

XMQ9fpL.jpg

In leveling, it is very similar to the physical one, just gather mob and use your stoop and cast CN Meteor your AoE par excellence.

MvP Tactics.

haY9MG8.png

This for a magic doram that is not properly equipped can be almost impossible, but you should be very studious of your class and know their pros and cons, a doram at the time of killing MvP will do it with your CN Meteor skill unless you have someone that you can tank that damage for you, then in that moment you will use your command of the elements to use SV Steam Spear with the accessories to destroy the MvP.

 Support in progress..........  :Emo_12:

This "guide" is not a good guide at all.

You don't even give a single example for a final skillbuild, you're just commenting on skills.

Lunatic Carrot beat also sucks hard with this build, Catnip Meteor is way better - and obviously you'll want to wear the full Doram set to deal damage with both skills.

Crowd control is nothing Dorams excel at.

That are you even trying to Crowd Control with damage AoEs? No explanation to this at all.

Neither do you need full variable reduction for CN Meteor, nor do you need Sacrament since Doram sets reduce your FCT a lot more with high enough upgrades and we all know that only the highest value stacks.

Then again maybe on that pserver... :V

The Cast Delay on CN Meteor you talk about also does not matter at all since a single CN Meteor with proper gears can easily kill everything you want to kill - ignoring ghost mobs.

You focus on just Elegant Doram Set.

Hey guess what? That needs lvl 175. A proper guide should focus on things that come before, too.

Leveling you know?

Leveling that doesn't only focus on getting leeched through TI and Bio4 because those are not the only methods.

Even if you only look at capped characters the gear selection you listed is smaller than it should be.

Ex.: Scutum is not the only good shield and you can definetly do very well without a Scutum.

You don't show anything about how to play this, videos would immensely help understand that part you try to explain for tanking.

So you're a tank but only keep Tuna on Gene an AB? And you only actually tank yourself when the Sura gets Dispelled? Doesn't really make any sense to me.

Definetly doesn't explain why people should bring along a Doram instead of you know... another character that does more that keeping up Tuna and being able to jump in if and only if the Sura dies. :v

Also let's take a look at the guide you based this on... copied this from. :v

It's almost a 1:1 copy from a pserver guide for a pserver that has different items and workings from iRO.

Heck you even left out certain information like what you actually mean by Crowd Control with CNMeteor/LCB: That's no Crowd Control that is trying to get the mobs on you.

And even for that there are way better means of achieving this: Run in front and use reflect gears.

You leave out the whole helpful gameplay strategies to reduce them to one single not helpful sentence.

TL;DR:
Bad almost 1:1 copy of a pserver guide that leaves out important things.

This definetly does not explain why people should follow this build or why parties should take a character like this along instead of another one.

Edit:

Oh and LCB doen't need Carrots to cast at all on iRO. Would be way more helpful to know than that it doesn't need them on that pserver. :v

uhm....ok...(don't worry, I already read NovaRO's Guides on Doram, and Rebel, but I super duper do not agree it will work properly in other servers.)

Aside from the fact that private server has a lot of differences compared to us. this guide is not really good.

1. having a lot of agi in support doram, no, in all types of doram is completely useless. its just wasting stat points.

2. much better if you have a ladder form on equipping a support doram. and for leveling, i wanna know how do you level that kind of doram, especially most TI and bio4 is sometimes empty(and the guarantee that you will be recruited is low...for a support and magic doram)

3.Tuna party is one of the vital skills of support cat. it can save the lives of your comrade who are in grave danger. and oh by the way: You can use it to your tank sura if it got dispelled. that's much better than jumping in and sacrifing yourself ending up being killed. Am i right?

5.Overall, The job of Support cat is literally being a support class. Your job is practically helping your AB on healing your comrades as well as helping your RG not to suffer much. Tuna party is a powerful shield that can saves a lot of pots for your tanker or even save the lives of your partymates who are under attack.

So...that's all, better get videos and your own experience about support doram. i'm happy to see a guide for it since it is super despise by iRO  as well as i dont see much of it in the community.

Tips for aspiring Support kitty

~Physical doram's weapons has HP and SP bonuses, use it.

~You can use as simple as Doram set to survive, in fact, this is the best set of armor that is cheaper and easy to get.

~in Low ti,Mid TI, High Ti, you can do luring jobs but in a short distances because your shield will break down after several hits depending on how much HP you have (50% of it)

~Best cards to use are cards that can reduce neutral and other elemental attacks, as well as HP improving cards since Tuna party is a great skill.(Raydric,Deviling,Elemental cards, Peco peco)

~no need to use phen card if you are using doram set.better give those slots for KBC

~For shield, You can use Immune(my pref shield), Valk, Scutum.

The one thing I would disagree with in regards to Icarus's comments is Agi for physical doram. I personally roll 90 AGI, but that is because I have access to enough delay to push for at least 2 ~ 3 attacks per second. Arclouse Dash and Awake/Celermine is not enough to get the ASPD required for 2hits+ per second without having some decent base AGI.

Wow great work^^

I'd like to recommend physical doram for Heart Wing Hair Band, New Wave Sunglasses, Medical Scrubs. Cutting delay after skill is one of way to increase DPS. Expensive though :p_sick:

Magical Doram.

The magic feline, this was my option when these kittens came to Rune-Midgar, I really like what they can do in both AoE damage and 1vs1 can deal with any kind of monster except Holy type, also has a good amount of skills that help you by giving more atk and matk, like the party, as if that were not enough you can defend the defense of your enemy up to 50% less, in the case of the MvP, and 100% less in the case of other players (only Hard Def and Hard Mdef), his specialty is throwing fruits and twigs.

Why would a magic Doram be unable to deal with Holy mobs?

Catnip Meteor is neutral, thus hits everything but Ghost.

For dealing with Ghosts you can just use lvl 5 SV Stem Spear.

So the only thing they lack is an AoE that properly hits ghost, as well as easily accessible MDef bypass:

- They can use Big Ben + Neo Punk combo for 50% MDef bypass on Formless/Demon as well as Nightmare Arclouze + Nightmare Mimic combo for 50% MDef bypass on Brute/Undead races.

- Unsure about what the reuse time for Nyang Grass is, but for getting it you would sacrifice amazing utility support skills like Tuna Party and Tuna Belly offer. And 10s duration is nothing amazing. :s

- Magician's Glove is a no because you need both accessory slots for CN Meteor. You could sacrifice one if you spam only SV Stem Spear.

As for lvling places: NCT is great for 150+ ;) Bio4 isn't all there is.

Mdef Bypass for Doram atm is not feasible aside from WoE/PVP since KK MVP Card is a thing.

+10 DR Etran works very well. It prevents you from knocking back, so you can make sure you have stoop. +9 Enforcer cape is good for reducing skill delay, and it’s better than FAW if you have a Kiel. Lian shoes and Sharel shoes are useful to get some damage reduction. Sol Shoes is good for increasing drop rate if you have VIP active.

As for lvling places: NCT is great for 150+ ;) Bio4 isn't all there is.

ok go with your magic doram and try kill AB in BIO5 lets watch the miss party c:

Bio5 AB has a truckload of MDef (400 if divine pride is correct, ).

You deal bad damage because magic Dorams lack MDef bypass options.

Not because she is Holy.

(Unless you use SV Stem Spear but why would you use elemental skills that will miss when you have a neutral property AoE that can hit?)

remember its a full magic doram non hybrid magic/supp doram supp doram and hybrid coming soon c:

That neither touches on the viablibity of MDef bypass card combos, nor on it being not useful to equip Magician's Glove.

It also still leaves the problem of Nyang Grass uptime. At lvl 5 it has 10s duration, this is rather meh unless you can somehow spam the skill.

But, lemme reword this for you, since you seem to not have understood the problem I see: how long do you have to wait to use Nyang Grass 5 again?

And for getting Nyang Grass you still do sacrifice utility from the support tree, that doesn't change not matter what build you do. So the skills you get instead better be worth it.

but I can use nyang grass when the tank comes with the mob (like bio5) and the killers start kill with 50% of def and mdef decrease so atm works good cause I try that , yes have a huge coaldown but when u can use it its so op and magician glove break the sv steam spear 200% damage increase and 100% variable decrease combo :c

What mobbing party brings along a Doram for Nyang Grass of all things? The only mobbing party I've seen is mine and I can tell you right now that we don't.

If you're talking about single mobs then that's even worse since 1) competent physical based killers all either use skills that inherently bypass Def or use Def bypass gear, and 2) magic based killers use 100% MDef bypass gear.

Im try to say for example you are in a party with killers tanks and supp and omg in the tank have like 4 diferent type of mob 1 shadow 1 earth 1 fire and 1 holy, u can kill earth and fire easy with sv steam spear and u dont need bypass mdef but shadow and holy mmmmmm better for physical and u can help the party decreasing the damage of the mob or MvP with cn powder and decreasing de def fot the physicals killer that is my point if u want kill the mob in front of u u can be a debuffer for ur party I try that build (full magic) in woe and ET and u can trust me work so good

You never answered my question.

huge cooldown = not worth it

Or I can just ditch the Magic Doram cause he clearly has no idea what he's doing.

The only viable roles I can see for Doram in Bio5 are:

Physical - Picky Peck all the way

Support (Hybrid) - Tank/Puller

pure Magic - reset to an other build or stay away from bio5

How long do you have to wait to use Nyang Grass 5? Let me show you Google.com, google its a plataform where u can search the answers of your question, pls use it, and Nyang grass have 1 minute of coaldown, when  u have ful magic bonus with last skil "spirit of land" when u cast nyang grass up you magic attack so worth for killing mvp alone.

I'm just not trusting any pserver information. :V

And even if your MAtk increases for a bit, you'll still be left with extremely bad damage for 50s when Nyang Grass is not up, while at the same time your damage just won't increase enough during those 10s uptime.

=> Still not convinced it's worth it.

<----- for comments like this Ro is dead (no one shoot = trash T.T ...........)

Nope. :v

Also don't try to claim I wrote things I didn't.

Genetics don't all oneshot and they are still top tier. Going by your "no one shoot = trash" Genetics would suck. :V

Bio5 is just a difficult high end place to farm and people want to get the most out of it.

So you'll need chars fit for the place.

Right now pure magic Doram isn't one of them, their dps is too low on those mobs with our current gears - thanks to MDef.

Not every build can do everything.

Let me give you another example:

Super Novice: Super fun but super useless for Bio5 (and a ton of other places) no matter what build you pick. I still have one and enjoy playing it.

Because:

Having fun playing a certain build/class is a strengh of that build/class. :V

Just doesn't mean that as soon as you have fun with a build that build is good for every place.

If I had to reword your "for comments like this Ro is dead", I'd say:

Ro is dead for people giving bad advice to people that don't know better, just causing unneeded frustration.

I've seen more than one person quit over getting constant bad advice. (This was before you could reset though.)

Instead telling people the limits of their build makes them go at it with more realistic expectations.

Every build has it's limits, even if it's just the ammount of zeny/time you need to spend.

Im my case I "reset" my doram build (never reset it only modify the stats) to make my doram hybrid , cause I use it now for ET Tank and buffer, "Ro is dead for people giving bad advice to people that don't know better, just causing unneeded frustration." I dont think that is the principal reason, people quit cause this server every second becames a total p2w server and if u dont have OCP items, u can have mvp and u still be trash, if u dont one shoot in woe u trash, if u cant solo a mvp u trash, if u cant do bio5 only with killer and tank/supp u trash, if u cant get like 100+ m per day u trash, and for guys who say manual warg strike build is a trash, every build can handle every map and instance one better than other, example physical doram can solo any intance like et, any mvp (exept valky or kutulanux), bio5, bio4, isle of bios, morse cave, etc, magic doram is the better doram for leveleing way, fast leveling, but In bio4 useless cause the party have ME, and sv steam spear vs bio4 mornsters isnt good way to kill them, but u can go and kill monster in bio4, u'll take like 1 hour to complete 1 ti but u can, some people tell me manual warg strike or aimed bolt for woe is trash, I  kill yesterday 3 people one shotted by aimed bolt without no limits, I kill 1 guild (Resistance Sentinels) only with my warg strike, so every build its good every build have his pro and cons and every build can do all........
