It is a new year and with a new year comes new resolutions.

 

In light of everything that has happened last year, I am going to have to make a resolution that I did not want to make.

 

My new years resolution is to take a break from Ragnarok until the EXP Table is reduced to a tolerable amount of exp needed to 99 a character.

 

I hope that I see you all again sooner than later but I won't get my hopes up.

 

What are some resolutions that you guys are making this year?

I don't think they're gonna reduce it, so goodbye forever I guess?

My resolution is what it's always been - not giving WP any money except for vip unless they actually deserve it. And surprise, that's another thing that's probably never gonna happen.

Pay off the remaining 15g on the girlfriends car and drop 15g on the mortgage. Save the rest for 2020 when ima start to look for my dream home and roll a brand new  2020 Nissan GTR into the mortgage and a fresh garage.

178m too much for 99 when you avg 7-14m exp?

Oh boy, let me look back at when the average was 1-2.5m exp an hour and 100m for 99.

This game is easy as hell compared to how it was.

in thai they reduced the exp of pretrans by a large chunk with the arrival of trans so maybe we shall as well

Being a FS Priest is just awful. There's no parties, the only way I am leveling is 'cause my guild leeches me and as much as I appreciate their help getting me 99, I am so bored, I miss parties.

Made a Turn in system dont have a good ending in Renewal Chaos, in fact, make players more cry babys and have like 100 characters 99/50 without even know what kind of skill their have (hell there are ABs= Priest 3rd class and Suras who dont even know about Pneuma lol):

Range Enemys= Cry

High HP Enemys=Cry

Passive Enemys=Cry

Strong Enemys= Cry

Bio Monsters= Cry

Non-good drops= Cry

Big Map= Cry
Small Map= Cry

Mob in the entrance= Cry

 

and i can continue but that just the more common ones, now, what make you think Turn Ins will end the Knight Meta? that just will increase the Knight players and make Cry more the non-party class like Rogue or Sage.

Bounty Boards / Eden Boards / Ice Titans/ Abyss lake? is less worse yeah, but is still the same, now the thing will be: "Increase respawn amount and less time" and that will become in a "Bounty board in X map" some time later be "Increase EXP" then finally Gramps.

 

Well at end if i see the possitive side, with Turn ins will be less bots (depends in the mob and map...)

Lol, get over yourself Matt. The exp tables are fine. Almost have my 2nd 99. Could probably be close to my 3rd if I didn't idle for nearly 3 months after 99ing my first....Did you even play pre-2008?....The game used to be much more challenging and time consuming...

Though I would say finding a party outside of a guild or a group of friends can be difficult on the server, it's fairly easy to create your own parties for your guild and/or group of friends. This has been my strategy, at least, where I'll plan a CTHOs / Majos / Magma / Bios 2 party ahead of time and then post the date and time in my guild's (and others) Discord servers. Most of the time people will join, we'll have a good time, and I have the ability to level my FS. For example, yesterday we had a CTHOs party that lasted almost 8 hours because people kept it going. One person (playing Priest) was able to go from 66 - 81.

 

Another benefit of organizing your own parties is that you have greater say in (1) where you go, (2) what you do, and (3) what classes are 'accepted'. This is one of the ways I've been able to level my sage.

 

If you (or anyone) ever wants into one of these parties, feel free to contact me and I can keep you in the loop when we do it .

 

Anyway, just an aside!

iirc they reduced it to basically the same levels as we currently have. ThaiRO used to be 350mil for 98 > 99.
