I have been playing the new server since release now and i have a few things of input to maybe help out the requiem team, not saying anything negative just would like to inform the team about a players take on the game. Logging in you get a great experience doing levels and playing from scratch. Players love starting new and that constant progression is what keeps people interested. Sadly at around level 15 or so temperions way quest quits working because of the zakate bug, but not a problem still plenty of quest to level up. Went into theme battle and level up around 10 levels off a win, which we will talk about later.
The thing about this server is people are complaining about half the stuff not working but fail to understand what ALPHA means, the only reason they made the server live is for player to test it out and give the devs of what they need to fix. So here is what I can say about this server. I am now level 50 which is kind of a bummer since you cant go to trifri but patiently waiting for a update that will fix that. I have also played reqq since s1 and always end up coming back to this game because there is simply no game like it, hate to admit it but its true, the reason all of us play this game is for that reason exactly.
Here are some points to take into account
- Fix maps and quest (prob just giving it time, not really a big issue again because of alpha)
- Lower xp of theme battle - There should be no reason to get 10-13 levels at the beginning for a single battle, kinda too much)
- Break Rate - I feel that getting rid of break rate defeats the hardcore aspect. Back in the day if you had +15-20 you were considered a raid boss basically, I feel maybe bring back breakrate or even making some sort of version on break rate is something to take into account. Maybe its gets hard as the levels progress but at the moment if you have enough xeons anything can get +30.
- Haunted Mine - Drops are way to high for the haunted mine and will ruin economy and the hardcore aspect if you keep the drops the same as before.
Hopefully this helped i would love to hear from you
