Hello again. SO I am tryng to change a clan emblem and following the online wiki:https://rose.irowiki...g_the_Clan_Mark

 

I have made the emblem to specifications as in the webpage suggests

Using Windows 7

I named the emblem "Mark.bmp" without quotations

I put the emblem in the C:\Gravity\RoseOnline folder AND C:\Gravity\RoseOnline\clanmark

it says it cannot find the file. So what am i doing wrong, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello Kuurus,

 

- Make sure your image type is bitmap, which is .bmp

- Name your file "mark" if your Windows settings don't show extension,

or "mark.bmp" if it shows extension.

- Put your clan mark in C:\Gravity\RoseOnline only and try again.

Thanks for your reply. So I removed the emblem files from the clanmark folder and made sure the file is named "mark.bmp" all lowercase cause it shows the extension and put it in the correct folder. Restarted the game to make sure nothing was wrong, and same issue. I feel like it is something small I am missing.

It's needs to be named 'MARK.bmp' or, if you don't have file* extensions shown "MARK". It also needs to be in the same folder as the ROSE.exe you're running the game from. If you're unsure where this is located, right click the desktop shortcut, and select 'open file location' and paste the image into that folder.

Thanks so much I got it to show in game now. It says it is wrong file size even though I open in paint and verify it is 20x20. but I made alot of progress thanks so much! I feel like I can get it now!

It's because the image you exported is too large of a 'filesize' not too large of a canvas [resolution].

Download that, import the image, export it as MARK.bmp

While exporting, try for the middle option, it's considered 'medium' quality.

If you still get the error, export it with the 'top' option 'low quality', and that will do the trick.
