Hi,

 

I'm looking for lvl spots for a bard.

 

Have been with porcellios till now (65) and will probably stay there till 70.

 

But where to go afterwards?

 

Looking for SOLO spots, I know that I could lvl in party but because of the time diffrence (PST<-> MEST) partys are rare to find while it looks like everyone is only leeching his chars with knights -.-

 

Help is greatly appreciated^^

You really should get arrow shower. Especially considering how easy it is to get 1st class job levels.

When you can't be poring'd to get job 50 as archer because a total of 30 minutes for job 1 to 50 is too much.

Guys why/why not doesn't matter. The bard changed job 41 that's it.

Well, try finding a CTHO party and be a Magic Strings slave or west orc village party and Double Strafe spam high orcs.

Other than that you'd be stuck fly winging and spamming Double Strafe at Porcellios.

 

 

Alternatively, I'd recommend re-doing your Bard, it'll only take 30 min to job 50 as Archer.

 

Pure DEX to 60 then pure INT to 50 (if that is within the total INT amount you would get as Bard, combined with Sohee Card Shoes you will have infinite SP as second class)

 

DS 9, Vult 10, Imp 10, Owl 10, AS 10 in that order.

 

At level 12 with fire arrows straight to wolves until base 26-30, spam the free Novice Red Potions.

Then straight to Porcellios (if you can get a Gakkung Bow) fly wing and double strafe 1 hitting them to job 50. (At the start you might need to DS and then one normal attack)

You will not run out of SP as everytime it gets low you will level up.

Max. time to get job 50 is 30 minutes from level 12.

 

Job change to Bard and then back to Porcellios, you can stay there with DS up until base level 70 then you can head to Juperos with Arrow Shower.

 

It'll be faster than trying to level without AS 10, trust me, unless you are fine with spending 10 second class skill points into Arrow Shower.

I would recommend remaking and getting an Archer to Job 50. You've crutched yourself all the way to 99 without Arrow Shower, you need that AoE or else good luck ever getting to 99. Single target killing is very slow as a Bard/Dancer, I would know, I 99'd my Dancer in Juperos and it took quite a few Double Strafes to kill a single Venatu.

 

Alternately, It's not too difficult to alt a Priest for buffing out of party and leading a 1:1 party. It's an easier method to leveling a class like Bard without playing a Knight as a lot of parties won't accept you Arrow Showering as an acceptable form of killing, they will consider you a leech.

 

Some guilds also do party events. Solo leveling as a Bard is difficult and I guarantee there is some guild out there in your timezone.

I'm in a guild allready (my old euro loki guild) but we aren't that much player right now.

 

Sure Party as Bragi/Exp-M is always an option when there is a party.

 

So solo leveling without AS isn't completely impossible but will be harder.

 

Any other ideas then juperos? Thought about Enchanted Peach trees but not sure about the exp since the database is not correct in most ways

Kashural, with Double Strafe you will be stuck at max 3m/h and exp tables are insane, you need 677,399,548 to get to level 99, that'll be over 200 hours.

 

Remake your Bard, get Arrow Shower and then level with +20m/h in Juperos.

 

Either that or leech yourself with a Knight to 99.

How does it take only 30? Is there a better map than Geos for Archers? Are you hitting and running in churchyard? o.o?

Took me a few hours in Porcellios. Its far too crowded. You have to wing and walk a lot sometimes.

Literally the post you quoted has a leveling guide.

 

Use your 100 Novice Fly Wings and Double Strafe, 30 minutes job 50 is easily achievable with an Archer, regardless if going Hunter/Dancer/Bard.

At most 45 minutes, that is from creating a new character to job 50 1st class.

Even faster if you have a second account with a Priest standing on the Porcellio map giving you Bless/Agi/Magni.

 

And Porcellios are good until base level 70 or job 26 second class (~73/4 base, to get your second class leveling skills, i.e. BB lv 10), only as a Hunter you would go to Anolians as soon as you have Blast Mine Lv 5, due to the higher exp/h.

 

Porcellio map was ALWAYS crowded, just use Fly Wings freely, don't save them up, use all 100 of them and then buy another 100 and use them and so on.

Don't try to save on zeny on something that barely costs any zeny, it'll only slow leveling down.
