Third Eye:

Should remove the mobility component, and have the summon dismiss itself if the caster is more than 20-25m away.

Reason: This summon acts very buggy. It doesn't follow the summoner very at tentatively, and has a tendency to 'wander off' client side, while server side it's location is somewhere else.

It also makes it incredibly unwieldy as if the summon isn't killed, it can be left on the other side of a map, rendering the Bourgeois defenseless against cloaked & stealthed enemies.

 

Zulie Stun:

Consider increasing the base success of this to 70~75%, and the PvP version to 100%.

Reason: With the introduction of Stun Resistance as a variable in builds, this stun [being comparable to a Scout's Stun Arrow] is incredibly unreliable. I see no reason as to why a Scout, Crossbow Scout etc should all have a baseline first class Stun with 100% while a second tier stun should be a 50% base chance with an even longer cooldown. [20s on Scouts vs 22s on Bourgeois]

 

 

PvM Skills -There are currently 0 for Bourgeois as a whole. Seeing as this is the 'farmer' class, they should have the best PvM skills in my and many others opinions-

 

PvM Sniping:

Would like to see this have a two part component added to it.

Effect 1: -25% Critical Defense [7 seconds?]

Effect 2: Gain 'Wild Hunt' Passive Effect

-Wild Hunt: Increases PvM Offense by 15% for 15 seconds

[Sniping has a 30 second cooldown by default, this can stay the same as well as it's damage component if that matters]

Require: Bourgeois class [Artisans also have access to Sniping, so it's important this is flagged as a Bourgeois skill]

 

PvM Zulie Stun:

Apply 6 second Stun

Target: Hostile Monster

Simple and to the point, most classes have a PvM stun, I see nothing wrong with the formula, it works well.

 

PvM Cannon Stun Burst:

Apply 4 second Stun

Success: 100%

 

PvM Shrapnel Burst:

Retain 20% Def Down [non scaling]

Additionally should apply: 15% Critical Defense Down

 

New Unique:

Weapon Illusion:

Combined Effect of 'Illusion' and 'Weapon Augment'

Reason: It makes very very little sense to have Dodge & Reflect. If you're Dodging, then you can't Reflect. If you're Reflecting, it means your being hit, and the Dodge component is useless.

 

Modify-

Sharpshooter & Excitable Trigger Finger [Bourgeois Gun Proc'd Effects]

Would like to see 1 additional second to these proc'd effects. 3 seconds is just too short to do anything with, especially after the attack speed global reduction. 

 

Two New Passives if you're feeling frisky:

 

Bourgeois: Gun Tree
Dexterous Evasion:

3 Dodge : 1 DEX (5)

Require: Illusion (5)

 

Bourgeois: Cannon Tree

Bunker:

7 Max HP : 1 STR (5)

Require : Dual Layer (5)

Reasonable ideas. Bourgious are the only class (aside from clerics) without any pvm skills which is ironic considering they are supposed to be a class oriented to farming due to stockpile. Pvm sniping feels a bit too strong but then again alot of pvm skills are to begin with. 

 

The unique skill illusion reflection always bothered me because it's contradictory; if you dodge attacks you aren't reflecting damage and vice versa, so adding a new skill which combines the other two buffs seems fair.

 

 

I really like the idea of giving them a defensive option through a new passive for two reasons:

1. Dealers have the worst survivability of any class.

2. Dealers also have zero x stat per y stat passives, and I think making them based off the secondary stat rather than primary stat of con is more balanced. 

 

Bourgious (and Artisans even more so) have limited options for skill builds as it is, and once you are 250 you can mostly get everythingWith very little difference between skill builds.

 

 

Another thing I would like to suggest, is to increase the absolutely atrocious base attack speed of launchers. At .35 attacks per second, and no innate attack speed passives (only 5% from the unique skill focused dealings), it is a completely liability to even use melee attacks.  This is an even greater issue when you consider how poor dealers survivability is you just can't afford to be committed to a 2 second long melee that might even miss against all the raiders in pvp, when they themselves can kill you in the same speed it takes you to melee once.

Even Mages which obviously aren't intended for a melee build, have double the attack speed on their staves. Obviously that means it will increase further with more attack speed gear (should you bother with it)

 

A launcher bourg with max item mall attack speed passives, including the unique passive focused dealings and using the honor attack speed buff potion gets a whopping .5 attacks per second.  Slower than every weapon in the game except crossbows with no passives (and equal to guns with no passive, which also get alot of attack speed support via skills and passives).

 

I suggest just increasing the base attack speed of launchers up from .35 to .4. or .45 They will still clearly be the slowest weapon of all, albeit not so extreme.

Thanks for the feedback Phish, as a former Bourgeois rep, it's good to see I was close and within reason. Hopefully some DEV feedback can get this thread some traction.

I have to agree on this one, as far as I've developed my bourg through the years I've noticed how easy it is for them to get nuked by a slight amount of mobs, specially the innaccuracy of Cannon stun burst, it hardly stuns the mobs(Even at max Con and corresponding bonuses)

Very appealing idea for a new buff.

In regards of attack speed I agree with you on this, it is a greater issue indeed.

 

A suggestion if I may add.

What about revamping stockpile so we can actually increase the offer on mostly all materials, on a long term scale it might lower the prices (high offer & low demand) but who knows now that a lot of people have tremendous amounts of zulie. 

Looking forward to any positive changes on the class.
