When I made a bard, I was able to hit 99 while self-leeching myself in Juperos. From time to time, I would arrow shower solo as well just for the heck of it. 

But now that Juperos got nerfed, and Porcelios are crowded af, how can I solo level my minstrel? Even with BM+VIP+exp even+ exp items, I only crack 3.5m/hr in Porcelios because it's super crowded with AFKchemists.

 

I understand that if you want to make a full woe support character, then your guild should help you. After all, you're making a full support class for them. But my schedule doesn't normally align with my guildies so I mostly end up playing solo. I enjoy WoEing with a bard, but how do I level this -_-ing thing? I need to hit 81 to atleast be able to leech myself again with my knight. The problem is getting to 81.

 

Arrow Vulcan is crap. Cast time takes forever. 

DS is meh. Arrow shower is meh. 

 

Only option I could think of right now really is to make a TU priest and leech myself in Anubis.

Well. From experience. Once you hit minstrel you need to move on after your first few job levels.

Don't discount arrow shower and arrow Vulcan. Yes the cast sucks but it has it's uses.

I leveled in CTHOs doing AS from porcs to level 75. Averaging 12-14m/hr. From there I went to Majos and used AS for about 14-22m/hr (depends on other folks down there). Plus you have turn ins for Majos.

I'm currently checking Jup for viability with the turn in. I'll report back on that later.

But also based on your resources. I've also been soloing Valf GD using AV and clocking 22-35m/hr. So the options are there for soloing. Just don't discount your skills so quickly.

Interesting. May I ask, what weap do you use for AS? I have +7 2x Kingbird Gakk. I guess the problem for me is I don't plan on getting high dex so in the process, I think I'm gimping my damage output.

Might sound harsh but find another guild if you cant make their playtime.

I use a +9 double kingbird gak. Not much difference as far as damage but I had a +7 forever. And as long as you can hit the monsters that's all that really matters. If there is no elemental advantage where you are leveling status arrows are also nice. You could also supplement the right accessories to get your damage output higher.

Regarding Arrow Vulcan, is it a fixed cast time? I miss the old days where Minstrels/Gypsies are the go-to Bio3 killers for Wiz spawns.

It's not fixed but there is a variable cast time. Recommend carrying a phen or an orleans gown so you may be uninterruptible.

Well for what it's worth Jup with AS leveling. It's 12m/hr solo. Add in the turn ins. Each venatu turn in is 7.8m.

Takes 2 hours to complete the bounty. 4 bounties total = 31.2m +(2 hours at 12m) 24m = 55.2m every two hours. For our purposes it's 27.6m/hr. It's viable. Just have to have patience and time your turn ins around item timers.

Also, you do need some dex for your bragi to be decent.

i'm 99/70 lvl minstrel, woe full support. I did not use the AS and I have dex less than 10.

Your 5-10% for bragi do not play a big role, there are more important stats for Minstrel.

True. However, if you have a wiz line that has primarily int/vit then the extra bump in bragi does help. I guess it's all about preference.
