Christmas Event Proposal

1) Pull parties (ID3, AL3)
2) Walking parties (Juperos, TI, Baylan)
Each has its advantages. Pull parties tend to rely on set piece defense tactics while walking parties tend to encourage more improvisation. I'd like to make a Christmas Quest suggestion for each style.
1) Antonio's Revenge
Plot: Antonio has been stopped time and time again by pesky adventurers working for the real Santa Clause. In an attempt to replace him, Antonio has recruited an army of monsters by telling them he will send them out every year on Christmas to terrorize all the little boys and girls.
Santa has protected the Land of Eternal Chrismtas, Lutie for generations. This time, however, he needs your help...he's called for trusty adventurers to help protect him and the village of Lutie.
Mechanics: Santa's house will be Attacked by ever stronger mobs of Antonio's snowy army. The event takes place in an instance Santa's House. Several waves of monsters are summoned, each successive wave is more powerful than the last. Instance Santa will dawn his magical armor and help fight to protect his town. However, if instance Santa dies, the quest is lost. Instance Santa will be set to walk behind the party leader and assist him in battle.
Marin
Kobold
Siroma
Snowier
Gazeti
Baby Hatii
Ice Titan
Hatii
Snowy Knight
Each member of the party will receive 1 Santa Coin for each level completed. Santa coins can be used to obtain prizes.
2) Santa's Magical Collection
Santa has been weakened by his long fight with the bad Antonio. He needs you to help obtain crystal essence by killing 50 Winged Crystals. Crystals now have a small spawn on every map, including dungeons.
Each kill count of 50 Winged Crystals will yield 1 Santa Coin and 10k base and job exp per level.
Players can Pick up the quest from Santa's Messenger in Prontera, Juno, Rachel, Payon, Umbala, Alberta, and Hugel. A player may get up to 10 sets at a time.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As a thank you for your help, Santa will exchange your Santa Coins for prizes in Lutie.
Gift Box: 1 Santa Coin
Speed Potion: 2 Santa Coin
Jewelry Box: 30 Santa Coin
Old Card Album: 50 Santa Coin
Card of Your Choice From This List: 100 Santa Coin (doable 1 time per character)
-- Peco Peco Egg Card
-- Desert Wolf Card
-- Vadon Card
-- Skel Worker Card
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, I would like the thoughts from the community. Perhaps we could hone this idea into something concrete and usable for the GM team for Christmas.

I want a damned Crystal kill count.
I was about to suggest santa porings, but crystals would work too.
You can even make the rewards on par with titans/turtles etc because lets face it, you'd be hard pressed to kill santa porings (very slow moving non aggro) as fast as titans or turtles
Also there is *already* a kafra shop hat for them !

Could just put a santa turn-in NPC near each town.

Only thing I can add which is a simple suggestion is just add a few KC quests for the Toy Factory. That place used to be such a popular place to level, it'd be nice to bring it back for a little bit.

1. Mystcase, Cruiser, Cookie/christmas cookie turn in quest. Simple but fun for lower levels. Maybe give santa bags for 300 kills
2. Let's bring back Antonio and have him, at the behest of Stormy Knight, play on the BioLabs monsters resentment for not getting christmas and enlist them to steal Santa's presents. Modify the spawn for the maps immediately surrounding towns to spawn the first class Bio monsters (maybe wearing Santa hats) to maybe 10 per map that drop "Stolen Gifts." In addition have santa porings, Christmas orcs/goblins and Cruisers that drop Stolen Gifts spawning in the toy factory.
Make the stolen gifts account bound and implement a reward for so many turned in, something along the lines of:
50 - Small amount of base and/or job exp or OBB
100 - Moderate amount of base and/or job exp or OPB
150 - Large ammount of base and/or job exp and a Santa Bag
200 - OCA
1000 - MCA or 100 KVM medals
Next, increase the spawn of Stormy Knight or create circumstances for an instanced version whom, upon defeat, would allow players to talk to an NPC in Lutie (Maybe one of the Continental Messengers but done up like a Bios Monster) that will either spawn a Christmas themed Bio MVP on Lutie field or warp the player to an instanced Lutie field with the MVP there. Modify the drops so they drop "Santa's Stolen Bag" that the player can turn in to santa for for a new christmas themed Headgear.
Reindeer Santa Hat (Exactly what it sounds like, antlers overlapped onto the Santa Hat)
Def: 0
Mdef: 2
Decrease damage from demihuman monsters by 10%
When worn with Clown nose, Increase damage dealt to demihuman monsters by 5%.
3. Throw some fun Christmas hats in the Kafra Shop, one idea I've been kicking around for a while was:
Antonio's Santa Hat:
Def: 3
Mdef: 2
When worn with Eye Patch and Grandpa Beard allows use of teleport lvl 1. Durring the month of December Increases exp from Myst Case, Cruiser, Cookie and Christmas Cookie by 20%.
Finally make the Santa Bags from this event an accessory and have them work like the Towels from the summer event.
I don't want to insinuate that this would work any better than Ceer's, which is probably better thought out anyway, but RO thrives on diversity right? ...It should.
