Unable to login after selecting character.

Hello, returning to RO after several months break.

 

After selecting character, it shows "Disconnected from server".

 

ID and Pass is correct.

Patch is downloaded manually from ftp server. As well as patch.inf from choobs.

Internet options/cookie deleted.

Computer restarted.

 

What should i do now?

Hello, welcome back.

 

Are you on metered/Wifi type connection?

What's the patch.inf file number did you use?

Please browse to your RO folder, right-click ragexe.exe, choose Properties, choose General tab, look at Created and Modified dates, please provide the dates in your next post.

 

3437, will not download anything at the moment as it will download what comes right after.

Last date was last year. Exact date is 2017-7-13. It seems that my ragexe.exe is somehow not being patch? and is stuck in last year. What would u recommend me to do now? Reinstall clean?

 

edit: Im just gonna go download entire new client while troubleshooting this. Will update if still stuck.

Cinnamon, reinstalled new still "disconnected from the server", dont think its a client issue now....

 

whenever i try to relog again, it says server still recognizes your last login

Perform an MD5 on ragexe.exe, it has to be 9E4090AF9754169416C2CF349218766D

It the codes do not match then you will not be able to connect to the server. Try suggested solution #4 here.

 

You may use http://onlinemd5.com/ for the MD5 checks.

 

Also note, if you have an alt account to check with it would help.

Alt account experiences the same thing. Disconnecting after selecting character. I will try your suggested solution.
