Can't run Sakray patcher.

That's just it.

I have tried this how-to, it doesn't work.

I've tried a clean install, doesn't work from the whole game, it doesn't work.

I have tried the this link as some people who reported the problem before were suggested to do, but I can't open the web page.

I'm always running both Sakray and RO clients on Admin... but nothing works at all. All I get is "Failed to connect to file server" error, every single time.

 

Can anyone help me fix this?

Hello, Cinnamon!

 

I've just tried the solution #2, restarting the computer, resetting IE and everything else, but it also doesn't work ;n;

My network apparently does allow FTP connections, since I can connect to all the servers listed in the post.

 

Does Sakray have some kind of IP restriction? That's the only thing I can think of ;u;

 

(oh and btw I'm using Windows 7)

Are you opening the FTP links through IE?

 

What about Renewal FTP server?

Renewal: ftp://ropatch2.gravityus.com/patch/

I just tried open both servers with Chrome and IE, but none work ;n;

Well, let's just forget it, I don't wanna give more headache to our precious Cinnamon ;u;

Are you able to patch the main client normally? Because if you are unable to connect to the FTP servers of iRO then you will have issues patching the game client, Sakray or mains.

 

You may like to try more things to address the issue, such as flushing the DNS cache, updating the hosts file and or updating IE, here is an older post that you can use as a reference for some guidelines.

Interestingly I never had any issues with the main client patch. I'll try this one post one last time. Thank you so much for your time, Cinna <3

Oh I think I've had some progress! The green bar appears and the error no longer shows up, but the start button keeps disabled XD

Double check Sakexe.exe and Sakray.exe are set to run as an admin all the time. Right click the file > Properties > Compatibility Tab > Choose Run this program as an administrator > Apply then OK. Remember that, you should have all RO clients off when patching Sakray.
