Just would like to know why, given that other garment costumes (C.AAW, C.Rudra, C.Happiness Wings) can be seen on character preview and this bothers me a bit (yeah, it's not a big issue, but I like to see my costumes on preview :c)

Technically it's an effect, you can't see effects on preview. Unless this is changed in a later update.
