There is nothing wrong with Crimson Mace. Cart Cannon is the one that's double dipping(when using elemental balls)
And we have no idea on when we're getting the Geneticist balance update. :c

Ah, okay so it's just the skill.
Either way, this was a cool little video to sort of give an example of both weapons with regards to the discussion. Glad someone put it together as this does look pretty definitive. I know we had a discussion about Large size monsters potentially causing the RTE to lose out on damage, but it seems the EA 6 damage boost and the extra AK card helps push it above the 25% size reduction penalty.

crimson mace looks so flimsy though...never liked it and never wanted to use it...seems to be designed for noobs

Tested it on my lv 100 Gene when doing some MVPs: even though 1 str, +13 RTE EA 6 3 AK had superior damage compared to +15 Crimson Mace 2 AK. I didn't even have the Sword skill yet.
