how to trade 1.5b to buy an item if the maximum trade amount is 999m?

You go by the trust system and record/take screenshots of all your trades. 70% of time the trades go smoothly, but if you get scam send in a ticket with recording and/or screenshot to get a refund.

You can trade 1b + an item worth the remaining amount, then trade back that item.

Hope the zeny system will be upgraded some day.

 

Until then, just have to risk it.

 

If I'm buying, I'm usually satisfied just asking to see the item first.

 

If I'm selling, I just tell people "trust me or don't, up to you" since I don't do/have "safety items". I've scared a few that way. Too bad for them, they missed good deals

I wouldn't call a +13 FAW for 4b "pricey".

The most important thing about trade items above 1B is main to main trade with max lvl char, dont ever trade with a novice, job 1 or job 2 char if they said it was their main .. always ask to see the item first if you are buying .. and SS the trade every step of it until the trade is finished ...

 

nobody really want guarantee with collateral items, so trust is important in the process  hope that help clear your doubt

Even high post forumers can't really be trusted. :3 But I get the joke~

 

1. What you can do if you're buying is ask to see the item to verify that they do have it.

2. Record a replay

3. In a pub chat or PM, state how much are you paying for and what item is it. Don't use acronyms. (I prefer pub chat)

4. Then if needed, state which character is receiving the zeny from which character etc. (So they know who to take back the zeny from if any scam or dupe zeny occurs), and the item of course.

5. Take a lot of SS as well, just incase the replay is corrupted or didnt start eventhough you thought you clicked it.

 

PS: Insist on dealing the item on the final zeny trade.
PPS: If its like 1.5b or 4.2b, trade the lower zeny amount first. 500m/200m

Nothing was selling even when I went down to decent prices. Ended up deciding they had to go. I’m not patient much.

ive never had problen in trust (unless they cant trust) or understand what or how collateral works. i only 1 time on restart had a bad WPE code from someone. 

i guess im lucky, most people are pretty professional about dealing over 1b. cause if they arent, just dont do it.

Make sure when you are selling something that the person you are dealing with has their main account present. You don't want to be dealt duped zeny and the GMs ban your account temporarily for like a week doing investigation.

You can only trust the justice figure as justice itself can’t scam people

Partly the reason why ppl are requesting m2m = main to main ...

 

Also ''SS = ScreenShot'' every trades , just to be on the safe side ...

If things get hairy , you need prove / evidence to sent via ticket  ...

 

Is a shame that we need lots of alts , due to the zeny cap ...
