Everyone I see who is using Meteor Assault does 20k+ damage. I dont know what I'm doing wrong that I cant achieve this. The only thing I can think of is my Weapon Crush is only level 2, but I seriously doubt getting the next 3 levels will change much as it is only doing about 5-6k. Here is my equip:

 

+9 Rideword Hat

+7 Enforcer Shoes

+9 Thanatos Katar

+9 Immune Heroic Backpack

+9 Deadly Evil Dragon Armor

Black Devils Mask

Preverse Demon Mask of Mad Beserker

 

97 STR

90 AGI

90 VIT

1 INT

41 DEX

91 LUK

 

level 141/34

 

perhaps is it elemental conversion I'm missing?

Did you max the Enforcer Shoes skills requirements?

I believe everything is maxed but Weapon Crush. I have 3 more levels to go with Weapon Crush, I just cant see maxing it out doing much of anything. Unless once all requirements are met it unlocks the big damage? lol

Posing react needs to be maxed. Sinx Skill.

Skill that affect you MA damage:
+30% damage per level of poison react. 
+4% atk per level of weapon crush
bypass 4% hard def per level of counter slash

Get 2 shield. 1 is royal guard shield and another 1 is any shield with 150 def. Watch these video how to use "shield spell" to gain atk+150 buff

Atk +150 buff should boost your MA damage tremendously and it last for around 8 minute. Good stuff

If you need more damage, you should dual wielding. Use RTE FS7 for main hand and 4 slot dagger for off hand. No need Hunter fly card. Just put damage card on total of 7 weapon slot. Rideword hat and EDA is good enough for sp and hp leech. Switch to toy syringe if you need to pot. Greed from your HBP should cover your condensed white potion cost. I believe at lvl141 you probably leveling at scaraba. No need fire converter. Enchant poison should also increase your damage. Poison is good against insect. Not as good as fire tho

Just a little confused. Are you saying I should do either the sheild thing OR dual wield? or both?

I think he is saying both. my damage was really low until i reset my skills to include lvl10 poison retract or whatever it's called. the sinx skill. I use +9 crimson mali katar and it seems to be working fine for low levels. if you can afford duel weapons then go for it.

well the RTE FS7 isn't very expensive i just don't know what cards to get to fill it and the dagger with lol ><

 

thats a super cool meta though, im excited... seems way more interesting then what i doing now.

check if:

 

1. poison react is lvl 10

2. enforcer shoes is atleast +7

3. your meteor assault in your hotkey is lvl 10 (this always resets to level 1 if you used a skill reset)

Poison is good against insect. Not as good as fire tho
 

 

there is no such thing as proper elements vs race = more damage

 

scarabas are earth 2. that's why poison gives 25% more damage to them.

Both. You gonna do dual wielding when doing MA. Royal guard shield is used just for the buff(spell shield). After you got the buff, switch to a dagger. That buff stay even you're not wearing a shield

max weapon crush, 20% atk boost is a huge difference with 8%.

what if i use 1 rte 1 bte guys?? any drawback from that? i know left weapon damage not much.. which element will count? fire or water?

i use +9thana katar (HF) for lv up from lv 120 to 175 with MA

this weapon is the best weapon for me and i even use it in instances for end game play

dual dagger need more zeny and at end game you change for more daggers lol

Yeah I just got my +9naght seiger FS5, and I'm keeping my thana katar too just in case i need it for certain instance situations / bosses.

 

 

I also got the sheild btw! I just need to get the 150 def shield now, I'm gonna buy a clean +0 Happy Shield because it looks like that one is the cheapest. I also need to buy my offhand now, some sort of dagger, but I'll probably end up being 2-3 in my rotation anyways so im not putting so much thought into it, just going to buy the best i can find for now
